At the bench watching the US Army on parade and...........on second thought,,,lol.......I cut the bumper off the tail panel and filled in the 3rd light ,,, initial filling,,,a bit more sanding ,I'll mask off the red tail and glue the panel on and fill the joint at the rear quarter -

Here's the decal sheet from STS.I'm going to make a slight concession with the rear tail light panel ,,,trying to use the Lindberg sedan panel on the Jo-Han hardtop won't fly and since the decal sheet does not have a section or wrap around carry over design to the back I will most likely just paint the light panel with the base color of Pearl White ,chrome the 3 tail light bezels and chrome the bumper -

..............started cleaning up the Jo-Han body,,adapted the Lindberg single headlight grille(cut the bumper off for a better fit) and did a tape up of the Lindberg interior and chassis pan ,,have to massage the door panels and extended the package tray which I figured I would have to do anyway going from sedan to hardtop. All the chrome will be stripped and hit with Revell Chrome -
Doing another drag car in between the biggins' ,,,,using the Jo-Han 64 hardtop bashed with a Lindberg 64 sedan ,,,, pics to follow,,,,I've had the decals for awhile now ,,,let's see how this goes

Came out great! -
The Dodge D700 cab was a cast resin find on ebay .I used and modified the MPC 78 Dodge p/u for the interior. The chassis and body was AMT's Ford race car hauler and I stretched the frame.I used the 413 gas engine and 5 speed transmission from the Lindberg Dodge cabover kit . I used the air brake air compressor from the Ford Cat engine and adapted it to the 413 for the air brakes. The Roadrunner is the AMT kit ,I did that back in the 90's . I did the Paper Tiger using the Moebius kit and I did the Comet also-that was a 3 kit kitbash to do. I did his 68 B023 years ago and gave it to a buddy of mine,,,I have to do another,,same with the 70 cuda,,I did the JoHan one,,gave that away too.... wish I still had them,,,the 68 car had a Ross Gibson resin Hemi in it ,build came out nice
-
Here's a few of mine,,I did the Revell kit with all the trim ,,before I realized it was an RO23 car,,built that when it 1st came out
-
Thanks for the help Warren,,, I'm still trying! Maybe I should try and reach out to Jamie Davis Towing! The boom is not too different than the one on the Revell kit I used for the FDNY truck other than the lift cylinder placement,, I could probably try and get another but that's a lot of $$$$ for just a few usable bits

That came out great Bill ! ,,,this book is my go-to for S & M info ,I'm guessing you have it also

.................getting close,I did a tarp deal, similar to the Earle Asphalt Reo dump I did,,I'm going to put a crushed stone load in it using HO train ballast from Woodland Senics ,have to make a false bottom, waiting on some air horns from STS Paul ,got the cab markers, front signals and rear taillights and mudflaps on ,,,a few more odds and ends to do
