..............after trying a few rads I had from parted out kits I made my own with some photo etch mesh ,strip styrene and the Autocar fan shroud with some alterations, used some parts from the Acar to make a fan hub bracket . There was enough material in the 3d print interior tub to hog out and not punch through for the little bit I needed for compressor clearance .I fitted the grill to the rad shell,,this will be painted white with a black wash in the screen and the Brockway logo chromed and installed after cab paint. For rubber I'm going to use the Autocar's front floats(I have a few floats from Jamie and ST Paul but they are wayyy big) and the rears are from Jamie, the rims will be Dove Gray and spokes semi gloss black . I'm fitting all the assy's on the 71 now and running fuel lines etc. take a pic after paint

Attached and modified the front bumper and bumper to fender filler plates to the front clip and used the Autocar front fender support brackets. Made up some rear motor mounts and that should give me some room to mount the compressor to the accessory drive and still have clearance on the front axle to oil pan. The Mack radiator is too big,,I have one from an L-8000 ,,see if I can get it inside the shell far enough for fan clearance,,, once I have that figured out I'll finish up the engine details and get that painted Alpine Green 😉

Didn't have to work today so I checked over the furnace this morning (it got down to 48 when I got up at 6),flushed it out ,(I do it every year) cleaned it up,made sure all the zone valves worked,,good to go!.............and some progress on the Brock,I built up the 71 except for mounting the alternator and air compressor, may have to have the compressor belt driven unless I can gain some clearance with the firewall(interior tub) . I attached the front clip to the cab for ease of determining mounting points and for hood alignment. I have an extra Mack radiator, see if I can fit that in the shell and have fan clearance. Haven't made up my mind on tire choice yet ..... might be similar to the Reo dump,,,dunno yet ,,will be spoke hubs

................the wedge brakes were actually good,,,until you had to adjust them ..............the Road Boss was a good kit,,I stuck an 8V-71 in mine .I had the same issue with the axle alignment Gary -
Next up,Stavola Asphalt Brockway 361 ........ using another of Karl's GSMT great 3D print cab kits along with the AMT Autocar kit with a 6-71 Detroit from Jamie at Moluminum . Don't think I'll have to alter the frame any,,we'll see.Couldn't find any pics of Stavola's old units but most likely he had a few Brocks. Not sure if I'm going to use the fuel tanks from Karl or the R model Mack tanks I have. Here's some pics of some newer Stavola trucks and I picked up this cool LED Detroit Diesel sign ,on the wall in the basement! I forgot to mention I already cut the hood from the fenders and will hinge it like I did the B-61

My Dad had a 66 Fury exactly like this,318 Polyspherical V8 ,Citron Gold ,black vinyl top ,black interior .This was the recently released limited run Jo Han repop of the 66 Fury dealer promo,,,for a cast resin body it was pretty darn good ,,pricey but I had to do it .Forgot to mention the paint was a custom mix lacquer by MCW to match the Citron Gold Poly from '66 with 2K clear and MCW Texture Black lacquer for the vinyl top
