White Road Boss
Scott Eriksen replied to Gary Chastain's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Oh yeah,,the White Road Boss2 ! Lots of possibilities! -
yeah,,what I did was wrap some thin masking tape on each barrel ,,which gave them a bit of resistance, the truck/dump body would never be displayed at an angle which would allow the sections to pull out anyway,,,I just tried it as an alternative to the kits wobbly plastic cylinder,,looks better IMHO

..........dump body attached to pivots,,might do something different with the mast cylinder,,,I have some Amazon Chinesium telescopic back scratchers I've been thinking about ,cutting the stainless wont be fun though ,,,attached the exhaust ,just have to do the outlet pipe, working on the air cleaner and piping,,,then I'll do the lights and mirrors

.............shot some color ,fenders are black,,couple days and I'll mask off and hit the radiator shell with Revell chrome,,,painted the grille white and have to hit the Brockway emblem with chrome and black wash the mesh .Interior is painted the same Mack green as the B-61 and I started to detail paint the cast spoke wheels(I shoulda got the Auslowe ones in hindsight,,,using the Autocar kit wheels)
