  2. They just got a batch of Chevy/Horton trucks and a couple F450 Super Duty Hortons, been delivering them and picking up jobs their shop can't handle,West Orange FD is hurting,,no funds,,they have 2 ladder trucks out of service for major stuff and they're still running old E series/Hortons with 7.3 Diesels. The West Orange Rescue Squad went defunct a good number of years ago and the Fire Dept. took over EMS chores
  3. yeah that's the same one I posted in the above thread
  4. The one Waukesha ad I think says there is a choice of ignition systems,,magnetos or battery/points and yes 2 spark plugs per cylinder

  9. Cobble up a BIG carburetor ,fit it on top of the Mack intake manifold,,delete the injection pump and install a prewired distributor should be close enough>>
  10. This is probably the most fiddly kit I've ever done,,,lol but anyway its a tribute to the Schwinn I had,,I didn't have the "Krate" version with the springer front though. Mine was blue with the white pearlescent banana seat .I stripped off all the kit chrome and used Revell chrome topped with Spaz Stix Clear for chrome . I hit the frame with a can of Mopar B5 Blue touch up I had then 2K clear over that. Banana seat is Tamiya Pearl White with 2K clear, might have it done this weekend

  14. Another great one Gary! The trailer really is a super nice scratch build!
  15. Dom,,you could probably use the Mack engine from one of the AMT kits and just tweak it for gas, would look pretty close
  16. Yeah the shop was on 245 N. 18th st, Curtis Service Inc. ,,I have a picture somewhere,, they had the contract for East Orange Fire Dept. ,,I remember going to fire houses with my Dad when he did on site servicing
  17. Lookin good Dom! The shop my Dad worked at was a Maxim and Ward dealer in East Orange back in the 50's early 60's ,,that's gonna need a Waukesha gas engine! lol
