She's done,,,probably going to go straight axle on the Coronet too

..........decals on,not an exact fit ,,had to cut-splice but not too bad,clear coated....doing the glass and Bare Metal now

And the Hurst built 68 Hemi L023 and B029 automatics had 8-3/4's

It wasn't available,,,100% positive on that . They were not upgrading in 65 ......... when the Dana starting becoming available in 66 I'm sure some were swapped out

You can build it anyway you want I'm just saying it wasn't an option in B bodies in 65

I don't like the "open" mold of the kit rear myself,,,I filled mine in with filler and bulked up the center a bit ,,same with the leaf springs ,,,,I compared the rear to an AMT 8-3/4 ,,,not much difference

The Dana 60 wasn't available in B bodies in 1965

Will you guys quit whining about those Mopar rims,,they're not that bad jesssus! .The 8-3/4 is a pretty stout rear,,especially with a 489 case 10 spline pinion ,,, ask me how I know

From what I understand it was one of only 2 red with red interior Coronet A990's ,,it had a white stripe running down the upper portion of the sides,,I simplified it a bit

Just finished up this in-betweener ,,a few do dads left to do but pretty much done ,,local car to me,,I could only find one picture of it ,,I used the new Moebius A990 65 Coronet ,the decals I did myself with inkjet decal paper ,,,I took a little artistic license with some of the lettering

I could use any body/boom/axle lift parts for my FDNY wrecker project ,,let me know what you have ...message me,,thanks!!

When it was new back in 2017

Charles,they hook the axle lift/tow bar to the towing eyes that are attached to the frame rails,they protrude through cut outs in the rear of the body ,,you can see it in that video.Most all fire trucks have them now so no underneath damage is done

Wheelcoach is delivering the regular rigs,,, I was in Queens last week ,,,didn't see anything in the shop,but I only walk half way thru to the office,,if it was a Horton I would have heard something.The new Hortons are replacing the International MV's

Got the Mack Granite cab kit from Karl today,,looks good ! Also some PPG FDNY Red and White right from Horton. Still waiting on decals.I ordered Jamies E7 and an Allison I got 2 builds going on ,,the Green Hornet AWB Plymouth and I started the new Moebius A990 Coronet,,when those are done I'll start diving into this
