  1. She's done .......it was a struggle being a hybrid 3D print/Monogram SuperBee but it worked out ok ,,,I think I need a new phone ,,camera is starting to go wonky
  2. Brian,I used Auslowe Mack tanks without the built in step but I cut them down to just fit under the cab MACK SQUARE FUEL TANKS, MB14 — Sour Krauts Model Trucks

  4. Those Auslowe steps are nice I used them on the FDNY Wrecker
  5. Ron,I checked on that myself ,,they only show one size on the website Micro-Mark Miniature Brass Piano Hinge, .360 in. x 15 in. Model Car Garage has some too,,photo etch has to be assembled ,3 sizes ,I got those for a B model Mack butterfly hood Piano Hinges (Small)
  6. Everything looks great Brian,,,those batteries from CTM are close to a Group 8D 12V HD truck battery ,, I've used them also
  7. With what I have found searching the innerweb before I built the thing is why would a guy restoring the car,go to all the trouble of searching for the correct Motorola radio,Federal sirens,,,etc,etc,,,and then go and put an incorrect color interior in it ????!!!!

  10. I just went with the pictures I found of the restoration of this one
  11. ..........some more progress ,body/interior and chassis together, bumpers attached,have to make the push bar yet. Exhaust pipes made from manifolds with solder and mated to the Superbee kit exhaust and made some turn down exhaust tips . Have to make an A/C condenser ,mount that and the fan and radiator and finish plumb . I decided to strip the hood and try and sand out the 3D print lines . Found a whip antenna in the misc parts box ,,should work ok

  14. Looks good Gary ,,,yeah a lot of 3D parts don't seem true to scale,,,I ran into that with the Autocar wrecker build
  15. The DOHC Hemi only came in the AMT Prostreet Bee kit
  16. Might be Grant ,,they made custom steering wheels and accessories back in the day
  17. ...........got all the glass cut from Evergreen sheet and installed , I made some A-pillar spot lights from parts bin stuff and brass and aluminum and made the package shelf mounted red flashers ,dash is done , made sorta an old school Motorola radio with the parts DJ sent me and mounted the shotgun ,made a report light and nailed it on top of the dash .

A little more progress....BMF done....... grille and taillights painted and installed , started assembly of the 440 and cobbled up a dual snorkel air cleaner thought I had a Fred Cady air cleaner decal but I must have used them all,,had to improvise on that. Made headrests for the bench seat ,started on the dash,,from what pics I've found online most are black dash with blue seats but a lot of other combos out there correct or not thats what I'm going with .Fireball wheels/tires and hub caps done .Might start on the windows tomorrow. I also remembered that the 71 Duster kit had the Airtemp A/C compressor so I have that to fit on the 440
  19. Thanks Francis ! Hit the grille and bumpers today with Revell Chrome,, in the dehydrator now then detail the grille with Argent Silver
