  1. Okay...that looks like a very cool kit...might have to start saving for one of those!
  2. Thanks! Fred-good point...I'll add a note. to the initial post.
  3. These are my first completions of 2013! Thanks to Futurabat for the tutorial and tips on building this kit. These are built from the Polar Lights 1/32 scale reissue of the 60s Aurora kit. I built two as a friend in Florida asked if I'd build his when I built mine. It is the first time that I've ever built two of the same kit at the same time and to try to build them both the same! Fun and challenging, especially when it came to painting the striping...twice on each body (first in white then in red). Here is the Photobucket album with the whole build. Enjoy!

  17. Cool video...thanks, Doc! Great rust inspiration!
  18. Overall, I like it. I can't afford a full sized one, but sure would buy at least one in scale!!
  19. A little before my time, but love the music and some of the TV shows/movies (Little Rascals, Andy Hardy, etc)... a couple of bits seemed out of place, like the Grand National on the dragstrip...still, was quite enjoyable to watch! Thanks!
  20. Cool start, Ira!! What are the engines from??
  21. Awesome, Ira!! I love your creations!
  22. I plan on doing a tarp at some point and was planning on using the tissue/napkin/paper towel method as well. I have read that covering the model with clear plastic wrap protects the model from any ill effects from the water/glue mixture and makes it easier to remove once the fixative has dried. Might save you a possible issue!
