  1. Loving it, John!! Awesome work!!
  2. OFP 857 is Herbie the Love Bug...Also appears on a VW Beetle in the later Disney film 'The Boatniks' (Re-used Herbie car repainted) and I think on the wall of a kitchen in 'The Million Dollar Duck' (I think!).

  11. Anyone else here going to grow a mustache for Movember to raise awareness and funding for men's health? I've signed up and have joined a team of co-workers. My Mo Space page is linked here if anyone would consider a donation. Thanks! Tony

  15. Thanks, Tony. I think I got the effect I was looking for. I've got a few more bulbs I want to use to figure out some interior lighting at some point. I'm liking the "Never Ending Project" aspect of it. I've got a lot of ideas so this will slowly evolve over several years, much like a real business/building.
  16. Got some lights! Here's what I used along with brass tube and scrap plastic bits: Primer Paint Both in place Lights! Now I just need to get a battery case and a micro switch and figure out where to put them!
  17. Thanks for the retro review...I'd love to see this kit reissued so I could get one!
  18. Love the mudflaps! Those are off the chart cool!!

  22. Nice Thunderbat!
  23. Nice looking build, Hondo! I had to take a second look at the first picture to be sure it was a model. Love the background you have.
  24. Really too bad. Sorry to hear that Model Express is closing.
