  1. Doc-you got some winners there today!
  2. Nice job on these, Scott. I've got plans to do the same builds, so your WIP will be helpful!
  3. Search came up fine for me, after clicking reset search tool...fantastic!! I got some ideas for my garage diorama...now just need the $$$!
  4. I hope you remembered your chair this time, Doc!
  5. Wow, some cool kits there! Nice score!
  6. I agree with Neal...Great shots, Doc!
  7. Doc! Man, those pictures are awesome! You found the perfect location for the HtH! Nice! Look forward to seeing more pics!
  8. The white 2-door AMC Hornet automatic with blue vinyl bench seats I learned on in 1979 had a second brake pedal only. I'd like to find that car now! I did see a Honda CRX Del Sol a couple of years ago that had a second steering wheel on the passenger side.
  9. Brilliant build! Love the colours!
  10. Bravo, Andy. The Old Man gave you some sage advise there.
  11. Absolutely no, not in the main contest categories and make it clear in the contest rules. Have a club or judges category for the club members who want to enter a build at their show and have it as a modeler's or entrant's choice.
  12. Awesome build!
  13. My deepest condolences for your loss, Darin. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
  14. Mark - Peeping Tom came out fabulously!
  15. Sam - the 66 Beetle is sweet! I really gotta find the time and $$ to finish my 67! Christian - that bicycle kit is interesting...I've never seen one before. Should be a fun build.
  16. Came in the mail today...2006 iHobby reissue of the Smokey the Convoy Chaser '76 Dodge Duster kit called "Smokey Police Car"...here's the auction.
  17. Good luck. Come back when you can. In the meantime, take care of yourself. It is a hobby and we'll be here when you get back. In the meantime, keep you stuff and put it away safely.
  18. Finally had some time to work on Galaxium! Put a couple of packaging forms on the roof and decklid and some old window screen for the rear window Modified the interior-Hacked out a bunch of stuff with a Dremel cutting disk...fun! and the interior roof...and a bit of the trunk... Next a rear facing weapon...plasma cannon, laser, goo gun, whatever the weaponry of the day dictates! With the interior and chassis in mock up Going to scavenge for some kind of power unit to drive this...gas is too scarce... Found the beginnings of a potable water transport while I was at it...tank is from a Xbox controller package...found some hoses and such, but will have to come up with a pump to fill with... Gonna have fun with these...for sure!
  19. Gotta love BRG on a Jag...good you are not letting it get the better of you after a cooling off period!! Nice build.
  20. Casper out for a pint!! Nicely done, Tony!
  21. Glad the health is improving, Ed! The station looks great! You got lots of neat detail in there to gander and gauk at!!
  22. Looks great!
  23. I use Tenak, Crazy Glue, 5-min epoxy, white glue and even Future and Clear paint to glue parts, depending on what I am gluing. For example, I glue together all the engine parts that will be painted the same colours-the block halves, and cylinder heads generally. I will fill the seams between the engine block halves as well before painting. For most assembly, I use the Tenak. If I really need the parts to stick together quickly, I use the Crazy Glue - being very careful to not get my fingers involved! I do sometimes use tube glue if I am going to leave it overnight. I use white glue, Future or clear paint for the clear parts (windows, light lenses, side markers). EDIT: Seems Erik has a similar approach and was typing at the same time as I was!! See, there are great minds that think alike!!
  24. Welcome to the board!
  25. Genesis 3:19 New International Version (NIV) 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”
