  1. I pinned the transmission mount to hold the engine assembly in place to make engine mounts.
  2. Looks like the engine needs to move forward just a tic for the injectors to clear the firewall. I'm recessingvthe firewall a little for better plug wire room.
  3. I don't think SWAMPY is going to be allowed back in the house.....probably should've rolled up the windows before going in
  4. Good choice on the mesh
  5. Bil's dang bench squirrels ran across the inside of my noggin again....low slung Injected 572.....I'm told I need help......
  6. Looks great! What clear are you using?
  7. Getting closer to putting mud all over this guy. Built some new shocks, put on a few decals. The stars are dry transfer and didn't do well with the rough paint. That's fine. Most of it will be covered in mud anyways 😁
  8. Making slow progress. I painted SWAMPY just like a couple of drunk buddies on a Saturday night-liquor and paint slangin- EVERYTHING is Olive Drab! I plan on covering most of it with mud anyways, but I want the engine to look oily too. I used Tamiya Panel Line Accent black and painted it over the engine. Looks pretty dang good to me! I've got some Valejo muds to use for muddy detail. This is pretty fun! Looks like someone forgot to roll up the windows on the 1st pass.
  9. There are a few styles that I had on the brain. I like these, particularly the pie crust slicks. A Blue line would look super sharp.
  10. I dunno.....the wheels look a little out of place for the paint scheme....bronze knock off salt flats maybe 🤔
  11. Now all we need to do is kick up some mud on this Dude!
  12. Nice work 👍👍👍👍👍👍
  13. My all time favorite set of movie cars!
  14. These are fantastic looking cars. Especially in Winchester Gray.
  15. Reach out to Dave Shuten at Galpin and see if he'd be mind sending you some pictures of the engine compartment.
