I started this one a couple years ago. I thought I'd finish it up while we're out of town. I remember why it was put back in the box. The body will not sit flush over the chassis. Has anyone else run into this?

You are correct about the grille in these cars. Bleh! At best. I'm interested to see how this one goes 😁 Is the acrylic resin black light cured? -

Here's a schematic of the air system on a truck. The primary system is for rear brakes only and uses green airlines. The secondary system feeds the front brakes and air operated items such as horns, seats and wipers in older rigs. -

The plumbing looks great. Typically there's no airlines run to the brake assemblies. The chambers receive the air and push the slack adjusters to apply the brakes. -

I'll get it out and take some pictures. The plastic actually has metal flake in it. I believe you can just polish it and assemble without painting. -
