  1. Interesting project. Are you going to paint it green like before the white paint?
  2. I built one back in the '80s. It's in the que for a re-do as well. I built a '54 Chevrolet sedan Delivery for a local coffee shop several years ago. She LOVED it. It's still on display there.
  3. I started this one a couple years ago. I thought I'd finish it up while we're out of town. I remember why it was put back in the box. The body will not sit flush over the chassis. Has anyone else run into this?

  10. You are correct about the grille in these cars. Bleh! At best. I'm interested to see how this one goes 😁 Is the acrylic resin black light cured?
  11. May I suggest a pneumatic grease gun? You'll wear yourself out with a manual one greasing all those u-joints! Looking Great!
  12. I was referring to the airlines going to the brakes themselves.
  13. Here's a schematic of the air system on a truck. The primary system is for rear brakes only and uses green airlines. The secondary system feeds the front brakes and air operated items such as horns, seats and wipers in older rigs.
  14. The plumbing looks great. Typically there's no airlines run to the brake assemblies. The chambers receive the air and push the slack adjusters to apply the brakes.
  15. What's this tool's name? Sorry for the hijack! The truck is looking SWEET!
  16. Poor Boy. Mine is the 16th. I always got either birthday or Christmas presents.
  17. Rabell was my daughter in law's grandfather's name. He is AWESOME!
  18. Our 1st grandson was born yesterday! We are Over The Moon in Love with him!
  19. I'll get it out and take some pictures. The plastic actually has metal flake in it. I believe you can just polish it and assemble without painting.
