FoMoCo66 replied to R. Thorne's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Nice work so far man! Your just going to town with your work. I've noticed not many people are commenting on this which is ashame, just so you know I've been seeing every post you throw at us (sorry for not commenting more). -
Great job! Isn't this the AMT kit?

Congratulations on making it into Model Car Magazine issue #224 with this project! Do you have any updates for us? -
What did you see on the road today?
FoMoCo66 replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I saw my neighbors 50 ford truck (bought not built), a bronze Chrysler Imperial, and a 1979 (I think) yellow z28 camaro. -
Same here. But mine will get it's own individual completed thread.
-
I also love 32 tudors! With all the other sellers at a price of around $35, Amazon is a steel!

Cool project! You gonna chop it, or leave the body stock?
-
Ordered mine last night. Supposed to arrive tomorrow. Got mine for $25 off of Amazon. And I was wondering the same thing but I'm pretty sure we post it in here, sort of like the other group builds.

I to was unable to get a picture but I saw a 64 impala 4 door hardtop in black, not something you see every day. -

I would say so. Looks like a very clean car. -
I have to include mho. Dire Straight: Money For Nothing The Surfacis: Wipe Out (I also love the drums) There's probably more I just can't recall them right now.
-
Any updates on this amazing build? The details on this car are astonishing.
-
I love willys, I can't wait to see this build!
-
It's mostly glued back together. The only thing thats stopping me is I'm missing the swash plate arms and rotor shaft. I think it's either between the desk or in the carpet somewhere. ??

I have! There the same style that's on grumpy's toy 9. The same car I'm working on right now in another WIP.

Today I sprayed the red, it came out pretty well. I don't have a spray booth and it's kinda humid out so I sprayed it then moved it inside to dry where it's 72°F and humidity is 49%(I think pretty good conditions).

Amazing job as usual Scott! I can't believe how fast you throw these together.

Well I got some primer and paint on the car last week. Yesterday I took it upon myself to go ahead and mask the car. I was originally going to just use the kit decals for the red around the windows but I decided to mask it. I just hope the making stays flat whell I'm painting. ?
