  5. Boring would be
  6. Back in the corner in the dark is what Flip Wilson used to say when he was dressed as Geraldine.
  7. Andy, the radiator support is no biggie, it's actually a separate piece so moving it forward really takes no effort at all. Although going with a dual sump and moving the engine back a touch would resolve the transmission mount issue. Thanks for the idea.
  8. Not sure how this system pops up with those duplicate posts as you have to wait 10 seconds before posting but it happens to us all. I like the idea of the exhaust tips Greg, thanks. I can almost picture them. Maybe even tuck them into the rockers.
  9. Nathan, bravo on the Corvette. Never say die I suppose, there is always something we can do with a kit no matter how bad it is.
  10. Oh man, now you put me back on the fence😆. Rest of the mods are really going to be vintage, '70 Boss 429 engine. But what led me to look at other wheels is the fact that while the 17" look really good they are too wide to leave room for an exhaust. Unless I go with side pipes and I don't think that would look right.
  11. It's a slippery slope Bil, you add one detail then another comes to mind. Then that one leads to two more. Next thing you know your adding a working oil drain plug, that's when you've gone too far.🤣
  12. Ball bearings work best when greased periodically otherwise you might find a broken spindle where a wheel used to reside.
  13. Extras of your teeth are kept in the top drawer.
  14. This is true. I guess the '57 Del Rio isn't. Maybe I need to do a nice simple OOB build...nah.
  15. Thanks guys, I'm kinda leaning that way also. Andy, I'm using the suspension bits from a 66 Galaxie chassis on this one.
  16. I have a desk lamp on the work bench and often hold things close to the bulb to heat them up for bending. Still gotta watch the finger though🥵
  17. Nice work Greg. As Jim says the wheels look great. I love working with those backing plates. I cast them whever I have left over resin from something else. I have them all over the place.
  18. Been messing with different wheel combinations.Set in the first pic are 17" Second pic is 20 and 21's Which looks better?
  19. Car seems to be a difficult word for some people, went into a toy store in Ephrata PA decades ago and asked if they had any model cars, the clerk kept thinking I said GAR.
