Imagine a place where you had nice warm weather, low humidity just perfect for painting, large work area with plenty of room to spread out your parts and a fully stocked fridge with any cold beverage you would want, and of course it's on the other side of a thick piece of glass just out of reach.

That's a design feature for people who can't apply the brakes properly and come to a smooth stop. The slot allows a cushion to protect you from a stiff neck due to their poor foot control.

Average number of people these days don't try to figure things out on their own, their first stop in problem solving seems to be YouTube videos which most of the time just steers them in the wrong direction.

Shielded wire is a product that most people don't understand and wonder why they have issues with their home internet, particularly when they shove all their wiring behind a cabinet so no-one can see it with electrical wires crossing communication wires and the whole bundled mess causing cross contamination.
