Revell 09 Challenger question. Am I an idiot?
LennyB replied to the60falcon's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I pulled one of these out of my stash and I think I see what your issue is. You need to bring the radiator core support through the front opening in the body. You have it below the body -
Sale like that has provided me with a lot of old builders, the kits not the people.

Nice build, always liked this kit. Built a bunch when they came out.

Nice build, I like the stance. BTW the negative battery cable should go to the alternator bracket.

I'm not seeing any of those issues, bell is as normal and quote button there as it should be. You say you are using another computer to post this. How does it appear in the other computer? Have you tried using another browser on the first computer? My guess this is a browser issue, perhaps the browser did an update in the background. -
Topic for tonight on 60-minutes is why more Americans don't build model kits and to begin we will take a look at Hugh Down's model boat collection

What's with the U.S.Post office these days?
LennyB replied to styromaniac's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
What really drives me nuts is that they scan your packages when they deliver them, they have a handheld scanner in the mail truck. But they don't scan them when they pick up. Nor do they scan them when they arrive back at the local post office. They don't get scanned until they reach the distribution center that is an hour and a half away. So even if this package gets picked up today best case scenario is it's first scan will be tomorrow. I have talked to the postmaster about this and they just collect the mail locally and then it gets sorted at the distribution center. So if you have a letter or package going to someone across town it still has to make a three hour trip to come back to the same local PO it left in the first place. -
Year after year I think to myself I'm glad I don't work in NYC anymore too much noise and too many Taxi's trying to run you over.

Nice idea for a project Jim. I got one in the wings that I'm using a Vics resin 4-dr body on. Trying at least, the Vics resin piece doesn't fit very well. I don't know what to think about that flathead. Here is a pic of one from an early release molded in light blue. It's not the same as yours. And looking at some 80's kit releases I have a Lesney AMT39/40 Sedan kit that didn't come with a flathead at all. Have an AMT/Ertl Coupe that has the same flathead as the light blue one. Maybe the 'kid' took the flathead from something else as the kit didn't come with one. How are the front wheel openings on the fenders? I've seen a number of the later castings where the openings are larger and not round. Wondering if that was ever fixed.

Have a package going out today sitting in the mailbox waiting for the carrier to pick it up. We have a light mixed precipitation and about an inch of snow on the ground that is supposed to stop by 1PM. Plow has been by, road is clear. What are the chances it gets picked up today? -

'Them' is considered a gender-neutral pronoun, compared to pronouns like 'he/him' or 'she/her' which are generally perceived as gendered terms.
