I find clothespins essential for clamping. If you look in the craft section you can get little ones as well as the normal size. You can turn them around on the spring to make a V-shaped clamp. You can also modify them for different tasks. Liquid plastic cement works almost as well as super glue, bonds in 10-15 seconds and won't pull your skin off
