  1. I don't know from experience but I wouldn't think decals would stick well to wax?
  2. There's no cell service where I live........
  3. An example of too much is not enough! Wild ride.
  4. My dad had a LUV (Light Utility Vehicle) truck back in the day. Porscheman is right, it was an Izuzu with bowties. Nice refurbs Pat! That old Ford looks good for no paint.
  5. Great color, love the dog dishes. Nice foil work also. Very nice model Jonathan!
  6. I like the idea of modern suspension and drivetrain under a vintage body. Like anything some are tasteful and look great and some are nightmares. Only you can tell which is which
  7. For me, it was the Monogram NASCAR kits in the 80s and 90s that brought me back to the fold. I'd built (glue-bombed) a ton of kits as a kid in the 60s but forgot all about it until after divorce left me with some free time, and my passion for Winston Cup racing brought it all back. Now it's mostly replica stock builds, and this and other boards on the 'net have brought me in contact with many others sharing this crazy hobby.
  8. Really nice work, especially considering it's 1/32! I remember there being a LOT of these on the road back in the day.
  9. Great model!
  10. Thanks for all the kind words! Flat was so much easier
  11. I like it Scott! From an era when you could run a lot more variety of cars in NASCAR. Great model.
  12. Just finished this one tonight. Revell kit, went together very well. Out of the box build, wife suggested the color scheme. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  13. Wow, very impressive Harry. The extra work really shows.
  14. Worth the wait! Great models all the way around. Congrats Ira.

  16. Can't wait to see it SFD, I know you'll do it justice.
  17. Looks good, I like the color.
  18. Very cool, great execution!
  19. Classic! Nice job.
  20. Mark "the kid" Martin, great model. Stroh's beer was also big back in Ohio where I'm from, makes this a double play. Very nice!
  21. I think I like these 2nd generations better than the first. Nice job. I don't think many high school kids would have whitewalls however!
  22. That is sweet, great job. I'm finding myself more interested in the classics from this period.
  23. Very nice, great job on the restoration!
  24. Held on to that one a little too long, Jim? Sony killed the Beta format when they wouldn't license it to anyone else.
