  1. That's the point, throw it away and buy a NEW one! Like almost everything else now, nothing is made to last longer than the warrantee to guarantee future sales
  2. Great model Scott! I like it a lot.
  3. Outstanding work. I like it a lot!
  4. No word on the Packard? I may have to pick up one of those Opels, looks very art deco.
  5. That makes perfect sense Skip. Exactly like acquiring a beater for parts for a 100 point 1:1 restoration project.
  6. I agree 100% with Jonathan, I have no interest in a built model. I won't live long enough to build all I've got so now I'm thinking of doing some horse trading on the bay or here if it ever revs up.
  7. Great model, simple but classic. Great save!
  8. Any "pony car" from that era, they were all nose heavy which is not a good thing in snow
  9. Another link, now they are printing parts in metal that can withstand rocket fuel temps. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9243224/European_Space_Agency_to_begin_printing_3D_parts_for_space_flight?source=CTWNLE_nlt_pm_2013-10-15
  10. Great models George! Did you build the trailer off a set of plans or just wing it? It looks very period correct.
  11. That is sweet, great color combo!
  12. Fins are in Rich, another beauty!

    Late model

    Very nice.
  14. I like it, great model!
  15. That's bad a**. Love it!
  16. I have a soft spot for Impalas, great job!
  17. Great model! Love the land yachts.
  18. We jacked them up to fit the big tires in the back, what is this "offset" you speak of? Not ashamed at all, we were all trying to be pro-stocks back then.
  19. Great model!
  20. Very cool, and timely .
  21. Always liked that car. Great work!
  22. That is really nice Chris. Great job on the weathering!
  23. Very cool! Looks good from here.
  24. Great job. I don't think I've ever seen a dropped trailer before!
  25. Looking good so far. I think in those days they ran the same car until it wore out or crashed, whichever came first . Multi-car stables came later, cars tailored for certain tracks even later than that.
