  1. I'm sorry I don't remember what paint was used. I think the Tamiya would work fine.
  2. Very nice. Great work on the decals.
  3. I always liked this paint scheme. Decals were large but manageable. I think this was the car they put the roof hatch in so he could get out in a hurry if need be? I didn't add that detail.
  4. Great job, nice color and foiling. Love the old land yachts.
  5. Wow! Scale drum brakes. That's something I haven't seen before. Must have been fun with all those little springs and levers
  6. Nice sponsor on the trunk! I'm diggin' the hauler as well.
  7. Looks cool! The pics are a little hard to see, how did you do the 'pitted chrome'?
  8. Very nice. Those Chevelles were cool. I like the paint scheme too.
  9. I've built so many Monogram NASCARs I could do it in my sleep (some might say I have on occasion). I say build what you like
  10. Very nice. Love those 67-72 Chevys.
  11. Wow. Tanks aren't shiny, but you've got it down on cars.
  12. Great job! Love the '60s-'70s cars when you could tell them apart.
  13. Way nice Lizardlust. Dig the working hood pins and hinges.
  14. Cool. Wouldn't be a Petty fan would you?
  15. Very nice outlaw. Welcome to the forum!
  16. Add my kudos, nice job! When you really get down to it, an Xacto, glue, and sandpaper (plus 40 years of patience) are really all you need. All the rest just make it easier and more enjoyable, which is why we do it in the first place.
  17. Definitely needs more cowbell! And a peace sign or two.
  18. If you love NASCAR, you've got to have a 3 car or two. Here's mine.
  19. X2. Love the old front-engined diggers! Can't wait to see it finished (without the toast crumbs)
  20. So a little more googling and I find that the Buick and Oldsmobile wagons of '59 have virtually identical rooflines to the Chevy. This appears to be the way to go.
  21. Wow. Can you say cowboy cadillac?
