I do the inside first. That way any overspray from the outside can be touched up after where it is less noticable. I find it difficult to mask the outside and not have overspray from the inside get through. All a matter of preference
I just use the back of a #11 blade, gently at first - it's easy to gouge offline! It's done mainly to sharpen up the lines so they don't get buried by coats of paint.
Haven't seen much activity here lately? This is an older build, no extra details, just paint and decals. The Silver Fox is going in the hall of fame this year!
Sterling signed to run for Junior Johnson in 1991. Finished 2nd in the Daytona 500 and had 2 poles, Talladega and the Firecracker 400 that year, finishing 7th in the standings. Monogram Ford OOB.
I always liked this paint scheme. Decals were large but manageable. I think this was the car they put the roof hatch in so he could get out in a hurry if need be? I didn't add that detail.
