Congrats Scott, very cool! I plan on doing something similar someday to the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 kit I have.

Congrats to your grandson! It looks beautiful! I built that as a kid a loooong time ago. I'd love to build it again, do you know if it is still available as a reissue?

I usually build just cars also, this is just the second plane I've built since getting back into the hobby a few years ago. I used Tamiya TS-83 metallic silver. Tamiya recommends using TS-14 black as a primer for it, which is what I did. However the TS-83 is about $23/can! -

Pretty neat! Looks like a modern "Erector Set" kinda thing. -
Just finished this yesterday. The first lightning bolt decal gave me fits so Ieft them off. Nicely detailed kit. Looks nice sitting next to my 1:48 scale B17 Flying Fortress.

Very cool Dave! I built the Badman also when I was about 15. You did a great job with the decals!

From this past weekend. The "theme" was "Icons of British Motoring". The last hour I was there it rained quite heavily so many cars were draped in plastic preventing good photos. This Allard was my favorite...... Then this Lotus..... Then this Cooper Climax..... Then this A friend owns this stunningly beautiful 200hp Triumph TR250.... Another acquaintance owns this beatiful TR6....... This '37 MG is something special..... '52 Aston Martin DB2...... This is pretty unique I think.... 1924 Bentley Vanden Plas Tourer...... A one of a kind (color wise) Javelin... More to come (mostly American iron) later......
