Ditto what everyone else said. I had the same thing a while ago as I didn't notice the 4 to 6 week delivery caveat. So I had emailed him. He replied back and one thing he said was that he casts to order. So that led me to believe he doesn't keep a big inventory of all the items in his catalog but rather casts items only as they are ordered. And of course if that is true and the part is chromed, then the part has to get the chrome done also!
The 1/12 69 Camaro kit has a small block in it. You can call it a 283, 302, 327, 350, 400...whatever because they all look the the same on the exterior. But it comes with a cross-ram manifold and a tunnel ram also.
Which resin caster makes the best, most accurate 1/25 scale Enderle Bug Catcher like in this picture?
Appreciate your responses as I need to order one....

Wayne...I gotta ask...how the devil do you determine the build of the chassis and where everything goes? I searched this thread and couldn't find anything that said you were using any plans or the like. So can I assume that you are simply building the chassis from photos of other Pro Mods and simply adjusting the dimensions to fit the body you're using? I find this whole scratchbuilding of these Pro Stock, Pro Mod and other specialized chassis like you and John Teresi and a few others build like some kind of a black art or something. Just amazing....
This whole thing is coming out sweet! Too bad you don't make a good injector scoop yourself...I'm sure it would look way better than that stock kit hat. Man the front of that thing is grossly thick! But that's minor... Looking forward to seeing the decals on this body!!!
Dug out the old Mooneyes project and did a little more work on it. I cleaned up the chassis quite a bit and gave it a shot of flat black to see how it looks...and it looks pretty good!

Also shot the clear coats on the body and after it dried I applied the Mooneyes decals on the doors... Many MANY thanks to Tom Jackson for those excellent door decals!

Found that I have QUITE the problem with the interior tub! look at the photo and see how far away from the doors the outside edges of the tubs are. There is about 3/16" space on each side! Not sure how I'm going to go about correcting that. Might have to cut the sides off and extend them to fit the interior...

The thing that's different about building these types of models is that one's technical building skill doesn't have to be really good. BUT...one's painting skills need to be!
If she goes by herself...nada.
If you go with her.....$100.00
If one of your friends sees you.....$150.00
If one of your friends sees you, takes your photo and posts it on Facebook....$500.00!
Try posting a message as to what you are looking for exactly on the Facebook group called Nostalgia Pro Stock. There are a lot of the drivers on there as well as photographers. Maybe someone in that group has some pics squirreld away!
Mystery solved! Thanks Don! I have a 36 Ford kit but with no directions and not the convertible kit. Somehow this fret got separated from the kit. What was throwing me off was that rectangular windshield. Now I see that this glass fret was for the kit that could be built as a convertible also. I searched eBay and found one of those kits where the seller included some nice pics of the parts trees and I was able to match it up perfectly. The kit was the one with the yellow convertible car on the boxtop.
Thanks again!
