If a trade goes bad, both people should just send each others stuff back if fixing it is beyond reasoning. That has happened Once, I connacted the other trader and even it was worse than he thought it was, and he fixed it by sending me another kit (the same but different). Since it was fixed, I'd still trade with that person anytime.

Welcome to modeling. Some tools I use. A dremel clothespins, tweezers, Clamps, Cutters (there, it's fixed) Paint stand X-Acto Knives, saws Super Glue, Ambroid ProWeld liquid glue for Plastics. Tamiya Paints are really good too. Low Tac (blue)masking tape Helps this helps ya on your way.
