Going Blind (I guess)
RodneyBad replied to ratnasty's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
OMG!! Your soo old hittin 41 for me made me realize I need some extra vision help. soo far I have started with 1.25 mag glasses and have a pair of 1.50x glasses near by when the detail gets finer. You may get older but ya don't have to act your age.. I'm still 18 -
The kit in question is the Monogram 1/24 Camaro. Actually the body proportions are way off but it does come with some cool parts. And with that wicked paint job it looks perty good now.. Mmmmm, may have to go get one too.

I've sold some kits and later ended up looking to buy the same ones again. I try and just keep models I like, might like, gonna build, might build, Parts, Don't know if I like it or not but dont want to take a chance at not finding it if I want to might build it. To insure I might like something, I'll pick up more than one. maybe sell or trade one off but always keeping one just for me for later-ish. Yes, Truly a vicious cycle. yes, I'm a Plastaholic If ya run out of space, build a shed. I'm thinking of building another shed

That bad boy needs a story. Like driving thru the paint store thinking it was a drive thru I like the Splatter affect. In a weird way the Splatter works for it.. she did a good job and it is finished too. That's a step above me

I really don't know what to say but it does look Cool. Engine looks good. The 2 tone(?) paint would really screw with the police chasing ya, Just loose the coppers and turn around and drive by them, they'll drive right on by ya Mmmmm, I may just have to try that 2 tone one day.. BTW: it looks like ya left the lights on on the Cuda.

Well All I can say is Good Luck. Most Model collection buyers will give ya about $3 each. I'd love to sell off most of my stash but I couldn't live with out most of them and i don't know which ones I could live with out so I'm playing it safe.

GMC Van parts
RodneyBad replied to Foxer's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Probley the best way to do that since the MPC dodge wheels are more like 1/20 scale Since I have a set of the dodge wheels right here and they measure out to almost 20"inch in 1/24 scale and 19"inch in 1/25 scale and quit deep too.. Is there any other kit that has 3/4 or 1 ton wheels?? What's this world coming too?? And the only Chevy Van kit I got is the reissue Revell Van/Boat Combo.. -
A car like that would scare any Road racer out there. Paint and wheel selection looks Great.. Great looking Escort.. CL Approved..
-
Great looking Ecto. Paint and all the lil detail painting really paid off. Decals look good too. Really nice work...
-
Well I don't know what Pura Sangre means but The Red hood sure does look good. I assume the hood is what the rest of the car will look like? Can't wait to see what wheels will go on it. build on.. I'm a really good Watcher too
-
The paint is AWESOME and Great colors too. I love the red lip on the wheels too.. Excellent work..
-
Looks perty Sharp. I like the Nascar wheels on it.. I'd suggest getting a Photobucket account so ya can upload your pics from there and ya would have to worry too much about down sizing them from here. Besides it is perty easy (I figured that out) and it's FREE!! Great looking build by the way..
-
Out side of the One headlight issue you brought up, I thing it looks Perty dang Great.. Paint and color looks great. I think the BMF looks perty good too. Nice work I say..
