We Did a 400mile monthly (800m round trip 6 times a yr)road trip today and stopped by a Hobbie shop to kill some time and picked up a few things. I already took the wheels and tires out of the package to massage out the flat spot from being stuck in a package a hair too small. Picked up the bike since I did trade off my One Suzuki bike I had. Decal paper just to have some.

Come in Everyone! What's your 1:1?
RodneyBad replied to Jordan White's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well I don't have anything special like a Baja Bug or a Manx(could really use one tho ) I really like your Baja bug tho Jordan. My 95 Geo My (or hers) 06 Suzuki Aerio SX AWD and hers (or mine) 08 Scion xD (we bounce back and forth who's whos) I haven't lowered anything because I really like the extra ground clearance even tho they would look better lowered. But I'm still pondering lowering the xD a bit tho. and my newest ride 09 specialized RockHopper Gotta get my lunch to work somehow.. -
Great looking Ford. paint looks good. I like the wheel tire combo.. I'd drive that

I for one wouldn't mind one of those or two for fun. But I did made sure I Grabbed a prius before they got recalled. -
When sent to your room, your okay with that, you might be a young model builder. When you got in Trouble, your parents made you stay out of your room, you might be a Young model builder. If you ever glued your eye shut, you might be a young model builder. If you ever used a Paint brush and a bottle of Testors to paint your model, you might be a young model builder. If your parents tell you to finish the first model before you buy another one, you might be a young model builder.

How not to get bench time.
RodneyBad replied to Mercman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
LOL.. WOW Man, Take it easy. I've never had a problem with Rum. Jack is where my problems start, thank goodness I learned 23yrs ago and relearned 3yrs ago why I don't like to hang with Ole Jack D. Plus I learned a long time ago that Spirits and painting trim does not go hand in hand (the day after. ) Cracked 2 ribs at work this yr and I do know how that feels.. Oooooouch.. But your story is waaaay better.. Take care and get some bench work done.. -

Here is what little I know. Tap Plastics has some really good stuff for casting parts. http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=61& This is what I have used and it works well. Molding making stuff (9:1 ratio)($32 for the pair) To cast the part (1:1 or 50/50 (half & half)($25.50 for the pair) Actually a touch more part B than Part A works good. Casting bodys? I don't know about because it would take a lot of the RTV Silicone RTV to do it and ya really gotta be good at it.

Very Cool looking Concept. Might want to keep it away from the Edsel, it might catch something
