Thanks Brizio Those So-Real tires are Great but Huge and Heavy. Ya really got to build up a suspension to hold up to them. And I have No lack of tires options. (a.k.a. have them too ) The Winch I hope to cast as soon as I figure out casting is this one. Or if ya get the Urge to build one The plans are Crude but affective.. And a 1/24 scale ruler comes in handy. I don't know if I could sell them since the castings really aren't that Great. and I'm still trying to figure the system out. Thanks Dave, I have thought about dong a 1:1 lifted 2wd in a Pre-Runner style. Fords work best at it with the Twin I-Beam set up. I'll have to work on the Fairlead a lot more. Normallly I just glue the Round stock to the bumper and build it up from there. Mmmmm, Got me thinking tho..

I'd say that one is a Great Candidate for a Display case just the way it is. -

RodneyBad replied to LDO's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sounds more like a Heart attack in waiting.. Try some Fruit instead.. maybe some Oatmeal? Live healthy and Longer. Only way to find out if that One off kit will ever be issues again.. -

nuttin new but I'm getting better I'm also working on a better looking Warn Winch The gray ones are molds.. I didn't make the molds or copys (2-part mixin stuff) but I did make the originals. I'm gonna learn soon and I got the stuff to do it with One Winch was made almost 5yrs ago One was made a week ago and the better one was made Friday. There is 3 attempts at making a winch and they are gettin better.

Looks like it's gonna be a cool looking jeep..

Noting special Just some resin casting supplys. I have a friend showing me how. Not cheap either to make the copy To make the mold $60 bucks all together. might have been cheaper just to make the parts over and over again.. I didn't make the molds or the Resin but I did make the winches, control box, and Fairlead. one is a copy from a Tamiya ARB Winch bumper and one I made. Now all I gotta do is set up space and figure out how to mix the stuff,& etc..... BTW: the white stuff is what I scratch built and the Grayish stuff is the Resin parts.

Picked mine up from my LHS Monday:D "O" and another model too... -
The motor has got to be the best part of the build soo far. I had bought a Fujimi Porsche and Ghia just for that purpose. But WOW!! What a motor it is.. Awesome work.. I Love it..

Thanks. Even tho the optional tires are a bit Huge. Ya gotta admit they look cool on it. at a Price of $12-$13 bucks. 1 7/8 inches tall too. They look good and are much Lighter than the So-Real tires and just as Large.. And Much Softer..

WOW!! only $10.50?? Now this is an old thread.. LOL... BTW: when done, it sits as tall as a 4x4..

Model Cars in Retail Stores
RodneyBad replied to James W's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Really? Never seem them but haven't gotten to Newberg in a long while.. I did see One Plane model at the Tualatin Freddies last week.. Weird.. Funny the cost of a model at a Fred Meyers compared to a LHS.. 1/2 has much but Fat chance at finding any. -
Who'd like to see these in scale?
RodneyBad replied to Chuck Most's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Heck, I know I'ld love to see a kit of one. or even two -
Naaaah, Tires aren't too big, fender wells are too small. A Saw-zall will cure all Another set of tires for the Pegboard. I think I have more wheel/tire combos than models.

Nothing new built yet but found another tire option. They measure 45 Inches in 1/24 with a 24 inch wheel. Might be a bit on the Large size for the Honda.. Losi Micro Crawler tires Compared to the Aoshima Super Swamper
