  1. My project is a factory stock '66 GTA in Vintage Burgundy. I am looking for details on interior colors. I don't want the all-too-common black, if possible. I think there was a dark red option but I am not 100 percent sure. If there was, I need to know what parts were what color - headliner,, top of dash, seats, carpet, package shelf, console, all that stuff. Also, were the tops of the doors painted or upholstered?
  2. You may be right about waiting for that new kit.
  3. I am thinking of buidling a 71-73 Mustang. I have a few 80s issues like the AMT street machine (molded in yellow) and the MPC '71 Boss 351. And I think a couple more recent ones from the past couple of decades. What might be the pros and cons of these kits as far as accuracy?
  4. Coming along nicely, Dan! I always enjoy looking at your loaded transporters. I look forward to hopefully seeing this at the HAMS show some day.
  5. Boss 429 was in that MPC Cougar mentioned above, while a good 429 Cobra Jet can be found in the Revell '70 Torino kit.
  6. This is cool! I did the same thing several years ago using a Ferrari Enzo as the base car. Lotsa fun. I look forward to seeing your progress on this.
  7. Sharp! Love that color.
  8. How did you modify it to sit lower? I have one in the works as well.
  9. Looking Awesome, Bill. I've been following this one from the get-go. Thanx for the step by step pics you provide. Looking forward to the next installment!
  10. "albeit somewhat minor" .... yeah, ya got that nailed down, Bill! lol Nonetheless, even though your somewhat minor work is more than a lot of us bother to do, I am really looking forward to seeing this come together. What other mods do you have planned?
  11. Me...? Partly because I'm a big fan of Mustangs. SuperDave
  12. Ed, that turned out fantastic. Got mine done, too. I appreciate your pics and links, it was invaluable for my own build. I have the figure set and Tumbler kits on back order. Can't wait to get those. SuperDave
  13. Looks like you tried a few more of those "bat pod" combinations than I did when I was googling pics of this. Your pic there is by far the best and clearest shot I've seen of the battery area. I'll get to work scratching my own interpretation and hopefully I'll be into paint before long on this one. What sheen of black are you going with? To me it looks like a good match for Tamiya Matt Black, I'm thinking for the chassis. Thanx for the reference pic, it helps immensley SuperDave
  14. I've been following your build and using it as a guide for my own Pod underconstruction. I'm mostly curious as to the battery area. I cannot for the life of me find any GOOD reference pics of this area. Where did you find them, if I may ask? GREAT build up!!! SuperDave
  15. Spidey want's to go fer a ride!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, it's spider-bat!!! Spider-Bat, Spider-Bat, does whatever a Spider-Bat does.... SuperDave
