  1. Man, I hope that Goo Gone does work! I tried soaking a piece in Easy Off oven cleaner for about an hour and it didn't do anything to it!?
  2. Thanks again for the tips guys! I'm gonna try that Goo Gone just as soon as I find some. They didn't have it at the grocery store.
  3. Thanks Chris, that's the first thing I tried. It pulls tiny specks off but this adhesive is really stuck on there good!
  4. Man, I'd have to stop in there every day!!!! Do you know if they will accept orders for a couple of the police cars at that price and send them whenever they get them back in stock?
  5. You pretty much have the right idea on the fuel lines. What you will usually find is that the fuel is drawn and returned from the same tank, usually on the drivers side and any other tanks are connected to that one using a hose the runs from the bottom of one tank to the bottom of the other. This way both tanks provide fuel in even amount. The little tanks under the battery box are air tanks for the air system of the truck, mainly used for the brakes.
  6. That doesn't make sense? All the other Lindberg Charger police cars are priced correctly (about what everyone else is selling them for)why would one kit with different decals be so much cheaper? I think it's a typo or something?
  7. Where's the best place to find Goo Gone? Can it be found in grocery stores? I'll be going to HEB (our biggest chain here in Texas) later and was wondering if I might find it there?
  8. I would try oven cleaner but these are big parts. When I do use oven cleaner, I put the parts in a zip lock bag, spray a bit of it in the bag and then seal it. I have one of the pieces soaking in Westley's Bleach White right now. Just experimenting with what I happen to have here. If that don't work I'll head to the store and pick up some Goo Gone.
  9. Something even cheaper, take a few BB's (ammo for a BB gun) wash them with thinner and put them in the paint. When you shake the bottle the BB's mix the paint. The BB's have oil on them straight from the package so it's best to wash them first.
  10. Thanks Gene, I may try that.
  11. Thanks Michelle, I did try Windex but it doesn't work. I'd have to do some hunting to find the Stoner brand. I do use Easy Off for stripping chrome so I might try that. The plastic is not painted.
  12. I think he must be a diabetic! He's searching hard for some suckers!
  13. Hey Romell, I was just thinking that this would perfect being towed by your big F-350 Crew Cab that you built! Very nice by the way!!!!!! (your truck and this boat)
  14. I have tried rubbing alcohol and it doesn't do anything to it. I don't have any citrus type removers but I'll pick some up. Thanks for your suggestions!
  15. What's really going to be a shame is when these wheels are gone, they're most likely gone forever, just like the one's Bill Drennen had made. I'm sure there are some out there that are wanting these but think they can get them later on. It will be a shame if they miss out. I just ordered my first set of ten with hub tophats. I'm not gonna miss out on em!!!!
  16. I like how it's sitting in the house! LOL Reminds me of my house!
  17. SAWEEEEET! I don't think I'd ever find a 12 bolt posi for that much! LOL
  18. Hey guys, I taped some parts together with clear packing tape to measure and such but I left it on the plastic too long and the adhesive remained in patches when I removed the tape. Does anyone know what works best to remove the adhesive residue?
  19. Whatever you do, test the clear on a scrap portion of the decal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 600.00 worth of Kenworth cab/hood and sleeper that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with as the clear attacked the decals!
  20. Looks kinda cool. I'll be watching it when it comes out.
  21. Hey Chris, any pics you may have would be great to see!!!!!!
  22. Me thinks this dragster wouldn't do very well at high speed! (look at the rear spoiler) http://cgi.ebay.com/PRO-BUILT-TONY-NANCY-REVELL-LINER-DRAGSTER-MODEL-KIT-/360366915433?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53e78abf69
