  1. Very nice!!!!!!! I need those too! LOL Is he having several of each made or are these for his car?
  2. 1/25 or 1/24 scale? What type? Kenworth, Peterbilt, aftermarket? For a 1/24 Pete flat top, you can use the lower panels from a Revell or Italeri Peterbilt 377 or the mislabled "379" kit and this top from P&P Resins. http://cgi.ebay.com/RESIN-ITALERI-PETERBILT-63-INCH-FLAT-TOP-SLEEPER-PANEL-/380334345818?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item588db18e5a For a 1/25 Pete flat top, you can find that in any of the Revell Peterbilt 359 kits. If your wanting a correct Kenworth flat top, nobody makes one....yet!
  3. LOL, I really need to recheck my kits before I make these posts! AND BID!
  4. It's great that Moebius chose fictional (I think they're fictional?) names for the tires! Much better than no sidewall detail!!!!
  5. Cool, where at? Don't worry, I'm a Chevy guy! That, and if I had a grand, I'd blow it on models! LOL
  6. Who brought the kit to the NNL? Was Dave from Moebius there? How did you end up taking this one home, was there a raffle for it?
  7. Oh yeah, that's right. I haven't dug my Dick Harrel kit out yet but I do remember the items you mentioned. Oh well, it was only 12.00.
  8. I'm pretty sure this is the exact same kit as the MPC Dick Harrel Camaro that I have! Paid only 12.00 plus 9.00 shipping!!!! If anyone knows anything different about this, please let me know! For some reason, I'm thinking there was a "Turbo Camaro" kit. I'm wondering if it's the Harrel kit with different decals?
  9. I sent you a message stating that I get my horns, tanks, and breathers from Jamie Rahmoeller. He is Moluminum.
  10. I saw that one on Ebay. Looked nice!
  11. So they're basically a curbside promo?
  12. I was wondering, are these new, pre built Challengers, built and painted versions of the AMT kit or are they simplified "promo" type models with the bodies molded in color?
  13. I think it's pretty cool that you let people know this way! I would rather know the caster is not accepting orders and working on mine (if I had already sent money in) rather than continuosly taking order after order only to get further and further behind. I wish more casters had this policy!
  14. LOL, LOL, LOL when I first read it, I thought it said fried rice. I was thinking mmmmm, I like fried rice! What's wrong with that? LOL
  15. Looks like a great job to me!!!!!
  16. I own a 69 Camaro but I'd trade it in a second for a Buick GNX!!! I almost traded it for a Grand National that was in mint condition but the deal fell through. My all time favorite truck would be the GMC Syclone!!!
  17. Hey Jeff, on all the fuel systems I've dealt with on trucks, there's a "bung" welded to the top of the fuel tank on the drivers side that has a draw tube in it for picking up the fuel. Next to that is another bung with a fitting for the return line. Then, on the bottom side of the fuel tanks, towards the inside of the chassis, there will be a pipe or a hose connecting the drivers side tank to the passenger side tank. This is so that the tanks stay "equalized" and the fuel is being drawn from both tanks at the same time. The fuel feed line will go from the tank to a fuel filter and usually a fuel separator (the separator usually looks just like the filter. Sometimes it has a clear bowl on the bottom.) From there, the feed line may go to a "lift pump" which is a small battery powered fuel pump. From there, the feed line goes to the injection pump. If there is no lift pump, the feed line goes from the filters straight to the injection pump. The injection pump sends the fuel to the injectors and any remaining fuel is returned to the fuel tank in the return line. One of our group members here, Kurt McLucas has made several decal sheets for super detailing trucks and truck engines. These include filter decals and all kinds of cool stuff!!!!! I hope this helps. The engine in your kit is a Cummins NTC350 (if I remember correctly) and is very similiar to the Cummins in my avatar. You can see how I detailed mine as I built it in my "Smokey and the Bandit Kenworth" album on my Fotki site. http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso
  18. I'm here! I build everything but my most favorite things to build are construction equipment, semi trucks and drag cars. I live on the Northeast side off Walzem. Been building models for over 38 years or so. Here's my site.... http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso
  19. Pretty sweet Troy!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
  20. So basically, he switched the box tops from the 18.00 reissue. Oh yeah, that's worth 59.00! I'll get my checkbook!
  21. Kind of ironic as the coach I was working on today had a coolant leak by the firewall. I thought it might be the heater core. Luckily it ended up being the same thing as your Ford. It had ten of those "spring" type hose clamps in that general area. One was leaking so I went ahead and replaced them all with #10 work gear clamps. Problem solved! That same customer really lucked out! I went for a test drive in his coach and just as I was about to get on the highway, I noticed a buzzing noise and could feel it very slightly in the floor. I knew right away, bad wheel bearings! Took it back to the shop, jacked it up, it had a about 1/4" play on the right side bearings! He'd have lost his front wheel if he didn't bring the coach in when he did!
  22. LOL, I was thinking the same thing! Our labor rate at the shop I work at is 110.00 per hour! I work on the multi million dollar tour busses and motorhomes though.
  23. I like that stock, black Cadillac on the right! You should post some more pics of that!
  24. That's a big help, Ken! Thanks!!
