Chevy is painted with HOK purple kandy and is pretty much box stock except for wiring the engine and doing a wheel/tire swap. Naturally there's a Fatkidd style distributor and fuel filter.
Thanks Russ. Nope. The interior is go mango and orange. After the body was glued together I made a notecard template to fit and then used it to cut sheet styrene. Tenax was used to glue it in place. The floor plate was ground until it fit real tight. Except for the seats, the interior was brush painted after the body was painted and cleared.
We participated in the Inverness (FL) Friday Night Thunder last night with our Mustang and friends with their '35 Chevy coupe. Cars, people, dinner, weather were all fantastic.
I play with ebay every once in a while. I'll set my maximum bid and wait until the auction is over to see if I won. What are these sniping services? Do you pay them extra?
I use HOK paint so I need to use automotive primers. My preference is Duplicolor in white, dark gray, black, and red oxide. I also keep a couple cans of primer/sealer and primer/filler around the shop.
