  1. Thank you Harry, Bruce, and Lee.
  2. Completed this Duster today and it's painted with HOK lavender with some Pearl Ex misty lavender mixed in the first clear coat. I sliced the hood to make a cowl induction scoop.
  3. Thank you Clayton.
  4. I usually use 22 gauge wire for fuel lines. I'm trying to find the packing slip from when I ordered the beads. That should have the particulars on it.
  5. Search for hex shaped beads. I use ones that are clear but I dab some Tamiya transparent yellow into the holes. Get your fuel line, position a # Beadalon crimp tube, fuel filter, another crimp tube. Bing bang done. Here's a pic.

    Chrysler 300C

Wood stain? Now I've heard it all, Lee. Looks really good in SHINY
  7. Nice work Mark.
  8. My most favorite color and it looks terrific in SHINY
  9. Sweet looking ride. Who's the babe?
  10. Those things are BIG! Looking mighty nice in SHINY . PS - I knew Cobraman Ray would like them.
  11. I just put some BMF on there to break up the color and wanted it lower. Didn't know it was chopped. So I guess it isn't stock after all. Thanks for the info.
  12. Thank you Gary & Tom. Since I haven't seen a Divco in many, many years, Gary, I have no idea what stock would look like. What's non-stock about my build?
  13. Sweet and SHINY
  14. WOW!
  15. Thank you Stephen.
  16. Thanks Ray. Maybe you'll like the '71 Duster interior that's coming up soon.
  17. I don't know how or have the equipment to vacuum form, Ed.
  18. Thanks you Al, Ed, Gaute & Mark. I remember Divco's delivering glass bottles of milk as a kid. And if I remember correctly, the driver would drive standing up. I was hoping to build a full kit with interior & engine but that didn't work out. The body must be 3/8" thick and weigh 7 or 8 pounds. That would have been lots and lots of resin grinding.
  19. This is a Testors kit made by Jimmy Flintstone and is a curbside build. The main body is HOK cherry pearl with the insets done in wild cherry kandy. Wheels/tires are from a Jeep kit.
  20. Terrific workmanship and fantastic, SHINY paint.
  21. If ebay shipping prices are to high (according to me) I'll send the seller a message asking for a better postage rate. Sometimes they'll lower it and I'll buy. No answer or no change means I don't buy.
  22. Thank you Mark.
  23. Thanks Mark. There's always 3 builds on my bench at one stage or another. Some take longer than others.
