  1. Thank you Ed.
  2. Thank you Michael.
  3. Thank you all for pleasant comments.
  4. My '70 Road Runner is finished in HOK chrome yellow with some Pearl Ex sparkle gold added to the clear coat. The decals in the garbage kit I got off ebay were trash and I was unable to locate another set, so I made my own. The Road Runner guy is a little large, but it works for me.
  5. I copy the IMG code from Photobucket and then use Control V to paste into the forum. At least it was working like that last week or 2 weeks ago.
  6. Since my next door neighbor moved and the new people moved in, they don't turn on their front yard light. It gets very dark over by my shop. So we went out to buy a yard light, wire, pipe, and I installed it today. And it worked the first time. I'll have to wait until tonight to see how bright it is with the 60 watt bulb. Might have to go smaller.
  7. Being you were a a shaver, they probably didn't hear you. I like getting on the left side of cell phone driving idiots at a light and just rap the pipes on my Harley. I know they can't hear the cell phone then.
  8. My truck has a thingie that allows me to talk hands free on my iphone. It goes throught the radio. I never used to answer my phone if it rang while I was driving. The '86 Mustang though, doesn't have that feature, so I don't answer the phone while driving. In fact, I rarely turn on the radio because I love hearing the sound of the engine and exhaust.
  9. Very nice.
  10. Sweet looking ride.
  11. Those Tamiya things are nice. I believe they come in 2 sizes. Much more expensive than Walgreens though.
  12. I've been using the same blade for years without any tearing issues. It's used only for BMF. A friend, AD Lassiter, makes a nifty little tool from popsicle sticks to get the edges down nice and tight. People also use angle cut sticks from Hobby Lobby. A must have is makeup applicators from Walgreens. They're like tightly wound Q-Tips but have one end pointed and the other rounded. Great for burnishing. CVS and Wal-Mart carry their brands but they're not as good as the Walgreens brand.
  13. Very nice but isn't the front slightly high?
  14. Mean little puppy. I like.
  15. I use painted spoons to help me decide on a color, but this might be helpful.
  16. Clean, sweet, and SHINY
  17. Thank you all very much.
  18. Thank you Bruce. SHINY RULES!!
  19. Thank you Stephen. Yes I believe the wheels & tires are from a Riv kit.
  20. Just completed this 1956 Chrysler 300 and it's painted with HOK tangerine kandy over orion silver and solar gold. I guess you can't really see it, but after the orion silver basecoat, I taped off around the hood, roof, and trunk and then fogged in some solar gold. It's pretty subtle but it's there. Rolled pans, quad headlights, frenched taillights, mesh grille, bucket seat interior.
  21. Looking good. I just cleared mine the other day.
  22. Well detailed. Clean, sweet, and SHINY
