  10. Thanks guys.
  11. What a waste of time & money.
  12. Congratulations Dave. A grandchild born on the Marine Corps birthday - how cool.
  13. Thank you all for the positive comments. I have another Bug convertible kit and the next one will be hugging the ground.
  14. Thank you Ray.
  15. Thanks guys. Need more Bug parts, Ron? I have a pair of plastic/vinyl heater box hoses, EMPI valve covers, and a round air filter. Probably going to be more as I get more done on my Baja Bug. I got the brakes done (disc up front), new chrome fan shroud, alternator, degree pully, headers, and some chrome tin work off the engine. Next is the trans and then maybe I can start on the interior.
  16. Paper towels can scratch. Let it air dry or use a compressor to blow dry.
  17. I started out trying to build a Volksrod but it somehow morphed into a Volksrodbajabug. I probably should have left the engine cover alone instead of cutting it up. Anyway, it's painted in HOK sunset pearl.
  18. Sounds more like a nightmare, Tom. Maybe you need to make a scale snow brush? LOL.
  19. Are you using a small container of water with a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid (blue in the bottle)? The Dawn seems to make the water wetter making the sandpaper glide across the paint.
  20. I like it.
  21. Amazing. Just amazing.
  22. Sweet and SHINY :)
