  1. Listen to THE MAN, John. Old man Donn Yost knows his stuff, although I'd check other places for the Paasche H series AB - Coast Airbrush for one, or just google it and get prices.
  2. Welcome Amanda.
  3. Lucky for you, I'm casting them.
  4. I might not have snugged the top down for the pica, Marty. It fits fine - as I would expect from a Tamiya kit.
  5. I used to work with a guy that had handicap plates on his truck. If/when he was somewhere and noticed illegal handicap parking, he would pull his truck behind the vehicle so it couldn't get out. Then he would call the police to issue a citation and demand that the cop call a tow truck for removal. Many time the owner would come out of the store before the cops and tow truck arrived. Paul would refuse to move.
  6. I've always had a soft spot for VWs, Jeff. Owned a few Bugs and the dune buggy in my avatar. Now I'm looking for a baja bug. Who are you using to transport from AZ?
  7. Thank you guys. I think it looks pretty good sitting on the COE hauler.
  8. Wow, Jeff. I left Aurora for FLA. My house was in the Butterfield subdivision along Butterfield Road (RT 56) just west of Eola road.
  9. I'd be happy to start saving mine for you as long as you cover the shipping, Peter.
  10. You gotta be kidding me. People pay real money for an empty box?
  11. The following pictures may be disturbing to you if you're a Mercedes purist, so please don't look. I needed a vehicle to put on my '37 Chevy COE. Popular opinion from fellow posters was to build a Hemi Prowler with huge slicks. I already built a Hemi Prowler and a Mercedes kit came along, and so. . . . It's painted like the COE - HOK tangerine kandy over a zenith gold base. The interior is basic with light weight seats. The BB Chevy is wired & plumbed. OK. Here we go.
  12. In order to recycle around here, you have to save the stuff, load it in your vehicle, and haul it to the recycling center. It's not worth my time or a 40 mile round trip. It goes in the garbage. We lost our Sabrina about 5 years ago and her loss still hurts. So much so that we don't want to get another critter only to have our hearts broken again.
  13. Welcome Ronald. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  14. Fantastic build.
  15. Another SHINY :) one. Keep it going, Carl.
  16. Looks excellent to me. SHINY :) RULES!
  17. I rip them up and throw in the garbage.
  18. Bingo! Hold your cards. It looks like Chris has a winner! And a SHINY :) winner at that. Terrific build.
  19. Looks excellent in SHINY :) green.
  20. Very nice build of my most favorite automobile.
  21. Very nice build and SHINY :) too.
  22. Welcome Jeff. What part of Illinois you from?
  23. Sweet and SHINY :)
