  1. Nothing like a SHINY :) land yacht.
  2. Very nice color combo. The SHINY :) ties them together nicely.
  3. Yeah. It didn't happen if there's no pics.
  4. Welcome back, Tom. You missed some drama and forum downtime while you were away.
  5. Nice, clean, and SHINY :)
  6. Sharp looking, SHINY :) land yacht.
  7. Welcome, Jordan. What took you so long to get to the bestest model forum there is?
  8. Looks good and it's SHINY :)
  9. I never even heard of that car, but it looks terrific.
  10. I like it no matter what the color. It's nice and SHINY :)
  11. Man, is that puppy SHINY :) ? Terrific build.
  12. Clean and SHINY :) . I like it.
  13. I certainly am not into rust & weathering and I just wanted to say that your build and the diorama are FABULOUS!
  14. Somewhere I have those Victory at Sea LPs too. Good music. I even have a turntable to play them on. You mentioned Vietnam and the New Jersey, Pete. I got to call in a fire mission from her one time. It really messed me up, too. I was used to calling 8 digit coordinates and the Jersey wanted only 4. The round was like a freight train going over our heads and made one hell of a crater. Our 105s would shoot for hours and not make a dent like one puppy from the Jersey.
  15. Clean and SHINY :)
  16. If we're going that far back, the Gene Autry show needs to be mentioned as well as Outer Space Theater featuring Flash Gordon.
  17. I have years and years of old SAE's in mint condition that I'd love to trade off. I have a list if you're interested.

Outstanding. I was watching Karate Kid II last night and change the color and bada bing bada bang, there's your model.
  19. How about Victory at Sea? Remember that show?
  20. We had a really good deal with the Florida Auto & Scale Trucks club (FAST). If a FAST member paid the $25 to join IPMS through the chapter, they got a Jeep CJ7 kit right away and then if they signed up for the Reviewer Corps, they got more free kits. So do the math - $25 annual IPMS dues minus a Jeep kit ($20.00), minus 6 kits a year ($120), and you're way ahead of the game.
  21. Another beautiful build, Rich. Naturally, I like the SHINY :)
  22. SHINY :) RULES! Nice build.
  23. That's a hot rod. Gorgeous and SHINY :)
  24. Whoops. Yes, I agree the Ala Kart is/was awesome. I have the kit in my stash waiting it's turn to be built. I think it was Sam Barris that built the Hiroshima?? Mercury. It's my understanding that George Barris puts his name on builds that he never touched. I don't know that for a fact though.
  25. It's KILLER!!!
