  1. Very nice looking build. I started the Phantom van yesterday.
  2. And that's a little 1/43rd scale? WOW! Fantastic SHINY :) paint.
  3. I love that thing. SHINY :) RULES!
  4. Very nice. A friend bought a brand new Camaro (yellow) and still has it. The last I heard, he and his son were doing a total restoration on it.
  5. Looks like a car that you'd see in the supermarket parking lot a few years ago. Nice build.
  6. I love the SHINY :) , but the panel line look too dark to me.
  7. After over a year long battle with the VA (Veterans Administration) my claim for PTSD was finally approved today. Not only will I be getting a monthly, tax free check, I also get back pay to August 2012. Now starts the big battle. I originally filed in January 1983 and I want the back pay. Since they, the VA, agree that I'm crazy now, I was even worse in 1983 when they denied the claim. The money will be deposited soon so I'm on a serious hunt for a 1:1 Baja Bug. Hello ebay. Fellow Veterans - if you have problems connected to your military service - FILE A CLAIM!! When the VA denies your claim, APPEAL THE DECISION! Just keep after them. You put you life on the line for your country and you deserve to be taken care of. OK. I'm feel better now and I'll off the soapbox.
  8. Thanks, Ray. Maybe cuz I had to post it in the truck section?
  9. Smooth and SHINY :)
  10. I like the SHINY :) , but what's the mild customizing?

  14. Very nice build. I like the SHINY :)
  15. I'm liking it and it's not because it's SHINY :)
  16. Same on this side, Jim.
  17. Beautiful and SHINY :) build.
  18. Thank you, Glen. Those valve covers came out of the parts bin.
  19. Gorgeous. Beautiful.
  20. Thanks, Richard. My plan was for the modern Prowler headlights to go along with the upgraded Chevy small block engine and Toyota truck front suspension. I believe they're called resto rods now. And besides that, the Prowler headlight fit the curvature of the hood just perfectly.
  21. Thank you, Peter. Obviously I like the interior too - otherwise I would not have painted it that way.
