    1/25 Cobra

model I built a long time ago. given this away as a gift already. nice kit.
  3. model I build a long time ago. simple Tamiya curbside snap kit.
  4. nice kit.
  5. from the Tamiya Campus friend set. Using this vespa to be a shop bike for a diorama scene that I am slowly building. Very simple kit but quite interesting anyways.
  6. excellent work.
  7. just for fun. turn the lights on tonight and took a picture.
  8. re-painted this Elan to a better looking color. Change the wheels and added some PE parts. The model itself is not bad. But seems a little too big. But the shape looks right and interior is actually rubber not plastic.
  9. yes, a simple curbside kit. This kit is hard to find even in Asia. Got it off the local e-bay and the box has been in a humid environment over say 25 years. it was rough and the decals are all yellow. But I build this kit when i was young and the result was not good. This is a like a revenge build. Also good for a shop truck in a garage diorama.
  10. nice job. In my opinion, these 60-70's Tamiya kits are some of the best commercial kits ever build. They are scale right and the detailing in them is spectacular. Also love some of the odd ball subjects too. Compliments to you.
  11. some more picture. there are still small details yet to be done.
  12. build this truck to be a shop truck for my future garage diorama . Very old Tamiya kit but a very interesting subject. build it like it is a 25 years old delivery truck. made the rear door functional by drill the hinges.
  13. this should be a long term struggle. Love these big scale kit but all the detailing and the size of it. Putting the base coat of white on and the stripes is at least a start.
  14. here is another picture of the Miura and how it was before the rebuild.
  15. This is not a whale tail. This is a tail that was used in a 76-77 non intercooler turbo. Also used on the 934 since it runs a watercool intercooler setup. The 78 above with the Intercooler is so called whale tail.
  16. A kit that I wanted make for years. Finally it's done. An fantastic kit with some minor problems alone the way, easily solved. But the biggest problem is that some of the rubber pieces broke due to its hardness. Hope you all like it.
  17. This is a Tamiya kit. Very excellent presentation other than the front ride height is a bit high which I adjusted. Making this model look like it is used but not rotten. Using some weathering techniques that I gather. A very enjoyable build.
  18. Redid this Hasegawa model that I did like 10 years ago. Very nice kit but some angles seems a little off. But overall it is an excellent piece. The A pillar broke while I was stripping the paint and the repair is still visible since it is very narrow and fragile. The kit tires are a bit too tall so the front tire is off a delivery truck and rear tire is from Golf. Also some pieces are missing after taking it apart. Hope you all like it.
  19. Thanks for the compliments. this model is commissioned by a friend in Hong Kong. It is safely at his place in HK now. this is last day before it left my house so took a picture with his big brother, a 1/12 934.
  20. One of the best model ever made in my humble opinion. The experience is like building a real car on your table and the result is superb. Added working headlight, dash light and tail lights.
  21. a Hasegawa kit. Fit is alright, its not quite tamiya but the finish result is not bad. Scaling feels quite accurate.
  22. Kits itself is worth the money. It's just too bad because it's a flat bottom car so Tamiya thinks it didn't need to have a full engine. Other than that the door mechanism and the interior is gorgeous. Also the bottom is pot metal so the feel of the car is excellent.
  23. Mercedes SLR. Tamiya 1/24.
  24. Thanks guys. just got the new camera so I just took a wole bunch of pictures. leaving the scence for a while because I'm moving out of Canada. Once I settle down in Asia, i should start this hobby again.
