I'll definitely look for you Sully. Can't wait for it. I've been staying out of hobby shops for the past coupla weeks so I don't get tempted and can spend way more money at the show. -Will

Good googely moogely. Thats awesome. I can't wait to get to this point on mine. Turns out I need like 15 bottles of Tamiya paint for this build. The colors it calls for aren't even close to anything I have. But it looks like its gonna be worth it to me Mike. Great job man. Can't wait to see little Valentino climb on her and hit 200 mph. Great build. -Will

"No no no you didn't say we shouldn't. You said we ain't EVER gonna do that again. And if you ever tried to do what you're trying to do now not only should I refuse, but I had pemission to physically restrain your a$$. Now did you or did you not say that? -

Awesome info Mark. I feel like I've seen a lot of 53 and 54 Kustom Chevies too. The 55-57 makes a great hot rod and now I see why these were never really Kustom material. I'd love to see that article on the SBC swap with the 40 Ford. Another hot rod favorite of mine by the way. Like I said great information for future reference. And again great build Racer X. Thanks. -Will

Rodney that truck is sweet. Great paint and detail work. I really like this one. -Will

Hey Moparkid, just a suggestion but if you want posters of old Mopars on the wall just get a stack of old car magazines (HRM, Car Craft). Yeah they always have those big centerfold pics of the cars but within the article you can always find some smaller pics. Especially in the readers rides sections of these magazines. The print is glossy which looks correct and when you cut em up they are in scale with actual poster size. Great job on the diorama by the way. I'll look through some old mags and see what I can find for you. -Will

You oughtta go Daniel. Lots of vendors and other cool stuff to spend money on. Food is actually pretty good too. BTW the Steeler game is on Monday night that week so you won't have to worry about a bunch of drunken yinzers out on the road at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Erie isn't really that far and it is a very easy drive from Erie to Pittsburgh. Especially on a Sunday. Can you feel the peer pressure? Simon if you really wanna go and are definitely going to come in for it then shoot me a pm we'll get you to the show. Hey Bobby, whats does "floor rights at 8 am for $13" mean? Does that mean if I pay an extra $10 I get first crack at everything in the show, or is that for vendors? Talk to you guys later. Hey we outta do a MCM forum group photo of all of us if we're all at the show. Lemme know what you guys think. -Will

Thats awesome! Suprisingly it seems to me that you don't see a lot of kustoms with the tri five Chevies. Tons of gassers, hot rods, race cars, and stock but not so much kustoms. In our model world that seems to be the case at least. I think you've put the Kustom tri five Chevy idea in the back of a lot of our heads. Thanks Racer X. Or should I call you Rex Racer? Great job on the build man. She's a real beauty. -Will

Excellent gasser. This looks so cool. Perfect weathering job too. If this is one of your old builds I can't wait to see a new one. Thanks for posting it. -Will

Mike it looks great. Thanks for the tips with the wheels. I started digging into mine again yesterday. Not that I don't have about a dozen other projects going on right now. Awesome work. Can't wait to see it decaled. -Will

Hey Luke, when they kicked Turner out of NASCAR isn't it true that he said something along the lines of "I don't give a @#%& USAC purses are bigger anyways". BTW I've never heard actually why he was kicked out of the series. Also I believe last year sometime CMT aired a special that was bankrolled by NASCAR paying tribute to their 50 greatest drivers of all time. Curtis was definitely in that 50 with no mention of his expulsion from the series. Just a little FYI. Thanks. -Will

Great looking build of my favorite driver ever. Even though I was about 9 years old when he retired. Something about Bobby that I was always just drawn to. I want to build this when the Model King reissue comes out next month. You've really set the standard very high. Great job. -Will

Another beautiful Dart Sully. Keep us posted on this one. -Will

Great USAC ride Slim. Perfect stance and I love seeing an old Chevy in one of these classic builds. -Will

Sully that Comet is gonna be TUFF!!! Great mold from the Modelhaus too. Never used any of their stuff, may have to try something... -Will
-
I never get sick of seeing this one Slim. Great job as usual. -Will

Yeah I know you guys don't enter your own show but you do always have a great club member display table. I remember it being set up as a drive-in with Bullitt playing. And I believe I also remember an awesome Two-Lane Blacktop 55 on one of your display tables. But at any rate I would love to see it so I hope you decide to bring it. -Will

Man really nice job. That conversion looks about a thousand times better than the kit. Really nice job and good work picking a little more unusual subject and driver. -Will

Real or Model #53 FINISHED!
Willy Survive replied to Harry P.'s topic in Real or Model? / Auto ID Quiz
You got me again Harry. Great job on the ROM this week. BTW I love the old VW's, Dodges, Econolines, and even the Corvair vans. But I saw this one and...BLEH. -WILL -
All 3 kits look great but that Falcon has my jaw on the desk. What a neat little car. I looked at these pics for a while and I just love the detail work. Especially on the wheels. Great job as usual Bob. -Will

You guys did a great job! Pretty cool seeing a youngster take that initiative and decide on some pretty sweet detailing ideas. And good for you for getting him the kit and getting him interested. Great job guys. -Will
