  1. Gotta say, Chevy S-10 (94+) is #1. Coming in at a close 2nd is 98-03 Dodge Durango. Then for Fullsize it's 99-03 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually and 88-98 Chevy C3500 Crew Cab Dooley. As for cars, I loved my 2002 Dodge Intrepid (before the engine crapped out on me), and I'd still Love to have an 05 GTO in Canary Yellow with black and yellow leather.
  2. I agree, Michigan is a beautiful state, but I left for job purposes.
  3. I FINALLY did find my way outta Michigan. I was born and raised in Jackson. Moved to PA back in July. BEST thing I coulda ever done.
  4. I have also thought about selling some of my kits, but the ones I buy are for a reason. Most of the kits I have are OOP and rare.
  5. Roughly 166,000 miles and still goin strong. Gotta love those carbed 4.3's. I plan on removing the trim and adding a pan before paint.
  6. My daily and project truck. 94 S-10 LS Ext. Cab. I do a little to it as I can afford it. I'm eyeballin a real nice set of 17 inch Eagle Alloys with good tires on Craigslist for $300. Then I'm gettin the rust fixed and getting her painted Atomic Orange Pearl.
  7. I remember touring the Universal lot at least 15 years ago. Seeing the Bates mansion in person at that age was one of the coolest things to me. Along with seeing all of the other things I had seen in the movies I thought it was so cool. I always wanted to go back, but have yet to make it.
  8. You've never heard of a "dash rug" or "dash mat"???
  9. I didn't get anything special, but since nowhere local at home carries it, I picked up some more CA glue while I'm in MI for the weekend.
  10. You should scratch build the motel in the foreground.
  11. I was thinking the EXACT same thing. LOL
  12. All of the basic parts from the AMT S-10's are from the same mold, so yes, it will fit. As far as my hoods, I'm waiting for the Firebird hood to get here, then the master needs to be made. Then it'll get sent out to my buddy and he'll make a mold and cast it. I'd say a couple months at MOST, but most likely much sooner.
  13. There's this one on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Extreme-S-10-Outlaw-Cowl-Hood-/290465820152?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0 Me and a buddy are gonna be casting Ram Air hoods for the AMT S-10's pretty soon too.
  14. That's pretty much it, it's just already low. Depending on the wheels and tires you're using and how low you want it to be you may still want to lower it more though.
  15. I can help with lowering the S-10. The EASIEST way would be getting ahold of the suspension from the Xtreme kit. Other than that, you can make lowering blocks from styrene for the back, and simply cut the mounting pin off the front and raise it using styrene. I can't tell you much about the engine, but it has been done before. Just test fit, trial and error is how we all learned. If you need any 1:1 reference pics for the S-10 just let me know. I have a 94 X cab and can snap a few pics for you, the suspension is the same from 94-03.
  16. i've heard of using masking tape and paint it black. However, some of the pulleys will need scratch built brackets.
  17. G scale would be 1/24, 1/25. You can get plastruct or evergreen styrene brick sheets. Check myatomic (link in my sig). There was a site out there that you could print brick sheets, but I can't think of it right now.
  18. I've cut myself MANY times, but I have yet to cut myself open to the point of needing stitches (knock on wood).
  19. Probably cuz I did the EXACT same thing when I couldn't get online for about a week.
  20. MCM withdrawls??? You were like a crackhead needing a fix, sitting in the corner rocking back and forth, twitching.
  21. I won't be selling on Ebay, I was just using that as an example, and I only buy from specific sellers too. I guess I'll have to open a bank account just for selling purposes.
  22. I'll take that flat box Hearse off your hands.
  23. I'm not a typical 4x4 builder, but I do have one in the planning stages and possibly a second one. Those would look right at home.
