  1. I happened to look at a hobby retailer's site and they show the Ford Snowplow being re-issued. I hope that's coming soon! I could think of uses for at least 4 of them.
  2. It's odd that you worded it that way. We talked here today, two are no longer with us due to health and I'm probably retiring after busy season ends. We keep talking about "pulling the plug", and it's looking better and better all the time. It's leaning that way..... Good luck to you, and I'm sure the site will be great!
  3. Pretty sure it's drag city. He does a ton of chevy hoods like that. Great to buy from too.
  4. I'm pretty sure HOK is lacquer. They don't advertise it as such, but it doesn't behave like any real-world Urethane. It doesn't behave like anything I've ever seen. "intercoat this and intercoat that"..... WTF is that stuff? I don't use it, I mix my own and there isn't a color I can't come up with. I'm assuming you tried to put it on over enamel. If that's the case, I can picture the outcome.
  5. In all of the excitement of A.D.H.D and senility, I forgot to tell you how great that came out. The woodwork was a classy touch! The weathering is perfect! It's harder than it looks, and you got it!
  6. Isn't that an old 3208 in there? There was a 3808 but I can't remember the last one I've seen.
  7. I looked on Roundup one day and there they were! I had to do some mouse clicking because I know they'll be gone fast. When I was still on Feebay I saw people gobbling up resin convertor dollies for $45 a pop . That's about what one of these kits goes for.... so it's a no-brainer. Nice kit, too. Haven't seen one in years. They've come out with a ton of great stuff lately.
  8. Thank you Andy! It's a shame. There is so little available for the pro-car builder.
  9. I can't vouch for him, but he has sold a variety of resin hearse bodies, limos, etc. His feedback is good. This guy on FeeBay sells hearse stuff
  10. Thanks for bringing back the AMX, I have two and will get more! Oh, and the Ford is gonna be a smash!
  11. That's beautiful! Glad you went with a green screamer! The wheels, too.
  12. In the event that he does not have arrangements to release a wagon, the 69 wagon would be a really easy project using an AMT 68 camino. You could then have a 68 and or 69, and a beaumont is possible from there. The 70-72 wouldn't be much harder.... but you have to come up with tailgate area, rear bumper etc. On the 68 camino, that's already done for you and you don't have to send anything out to the plater.
  13. Both new Mack Stevens repops are in stock now. Glad to see them back, the last ones didn't last long. Great job on your mack, Tim! Your site keeps me busy for hours.....
  14. There is an LS conversion, the lowrider set will know who sells it.
  15. You gotta strecth them, but being so square it's crapshoot. Or do a cabover and let it hang out the back The White is a winner either way though. If you really had one with a 12V71 I'm sure you would have pulled it out by now with Diesel at $4.25/Gallon 1-2 MPG UUUUGH!
  16. Good candidate for a 12V71 That's an oldie but a goodie!
  17. That came out beautiful. That's how I remember them too, most weren't Hemis although they all are now. I'm so sick of Hemis! The steelies make it too, and you corrected a lot of stuff and it shows!
  18. Read here to catch up on this: Thread regarding Dan Here we go again....
  19. There seems to be one thing in common when all of these various threads regarding resin casters are read: People get very emotional and opinionated when they see someone come "awfully close" as a caster. Especially when they cast a superb item, market very well, then half their orders won't get filled, or they have top notch customer service, people are in line for what they cast but the product looks like a sea urchin that's been hit by a train. To be great as a resin caster you need 3 things: A quality product, fast shipping, and good marketing. There are so few that have all 3, and that is what people see over and over again. As far as I'm concerned there were 3 greats: AAM (defunct and probably the best there ever was), Modelhaus, and AITM trucks. Study them. TKM is probably closer to being good than most think, but maybe...... he's exactly where he wants to be. He's definitely got the energy, and had decades to practice.....I don't know what else it could be.
  20. E-Mail them to see if they have what you want first. If they do, you'll get it fast. I often PayPal and have had kits in two days a couple times, usually in 3 or 4. he uses USPS Pri. Great to deal with in every aspect! On the quality aspect, he has no unusual control over the quality, he is a retailer for several resin companies. R and R are hit or miss, don't expect a Modelhaus, and you won't have to pay for one either. For the advanced hobbyist only. Maybe post the kits you are interested in to see if anyone here has bought them and ask any questions you may have.
  21. Can't hurt to try. If everyone put one thing up for sale, then people would see there "is stuff over there" and bookmark it.
  22. I got something from you once, in under a month. Nice item too. I would do it again. Wish you a speeding recovery and a long lasting one.
  23. The Joey Lightning has the OHC six, as well as the V-8. Use the matchbox car at holidays for a "stocking stuffer" I bought it for the engine for my 68 fireturd
  24. Chriss Street robbed them blind back in the early 2000's. The board was asleep at the wheel until it was too late. Chriss Street sued again It's a shame for that kit to die that way though. So does that mean there will also never be a tanker re-issue though (even though they are so plentiful)?
  25. My limo became a hearse many years ago. The other is unbuilt. I have quite a few AAM's unbuilt simply because I was so impressed with them I never painted them. Honestly, the 76 LTD, the Caddy, S-10, OLDs, I took them out of the box and said to myslef "why cant the big corps do this?" I put a clip off of an El Camino promo onto Perry's wagon, and 10 minutes was about it. I don't remember the wagon fuselage being any thicker than any other resin, but then again I don't remember if I had lunch or not. I would like to see a quality Caddy available, and not the kind which you would see with crime scene tape all over it either, something which could be built stock. Actually the Blazer on there is a direct copy, he bought an old AAM on E bay, then had them for sale shortly after AAM Blazer
