Love it! Great job, great paint! -
Tom, I'm also looking for hot rod parts- old Monogram solid rubber tires, Green Hornet parts (not tops or bodies), Deuce and Model A front axles, shock absorbers, quick change rears, etc. Any chance for some of these?

Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!
Paul Payne replied to Belairconvertable's topic in WIP: Model Cars
John, I think I can make the frame work, but lining up the exit holes in the body, and shoehorning the engine with the exhausts on the engine-maybe tipping the engine to introduce the exhaust on one side, then twisting the opposite exhausts down into place until they poke through the body- still trying to mentally engineer it. Follow my build in WIP number 6 in the stash bash. -

number 6 in the stash bash- first attempt at a belly tanker- the exhaust system will be a challenge- thinking I may have to thread the pipes through the body to meet up with the heads- we shall see!

Tim, sounds good. When you find them, we can swap addresses.

Belly Tanker
Paul Payne replied to slownlow's topic in WIP: Other Racing: Road Racing, Land Speed Racers
Starting a belly tanker project myself, using a top and bottom resin shell, most everything else scratch built or scrounged from the parts stash. Thank you for sharing your excellent build. -
Eliot,, let me know what you might have for trade- another idea- a can of maroon paint?

Have some engines to trade for hot rod parts. What might you have? How about old Monogram solid rubber tires from the Green Hornet and Black Widow?
