  1. HaHa I am already broke! Yes I am hooked on slot cars AGAIN.........
  2. Here is my first soder your own frame car. I am using a temp funny car body until I make another body. This car hit the wall head on on it's first night out so it has a few battle scars. It is a Parma hole shot frame with a pro-slot PS-2104 speedfx blueprinted S16D with a ballanced armature and pro-track tires Check out the header burn marks!
  3. Here is one that I bought a really fast turn key car and I am making a new hard body for it.
  4. Here is one I am working on now. I am using a Parma Hole shot frame and will be running a super 16 motor, all wheels are polished and are from Pro-Track including the wheelie bars
  5. Here is a few shots of one of my latest slot cars. Used the rsissue of the twister Vega on a frame I traided for. Quickie nothing fancy and its slow too!

  8. Great job Billy! Your skills are really improving. You need to sand those tire treads! I don't see how you guys do all those decals. I get nervous just looking at them on a flat sheet.
  9. Here is my latest slot car. Again using a Parma edge turn key car. I grinded off the extra slot for the wheelie bar and I also pinned the front wheels with knock offs! I polished the rear aluminum rims to match plastic kit front wheels and tires. taped off the stripes and raddle can sprayed them. A little photo etch, foil and thats about it. I have 2 more bodys in the works so hopfully I can pick up a few more to finish.
  10. My friend Kelvin Brown and I did this car together a few years ago and I just redid the hood with a resin hood due to our own worping. We stretched the rear wheel wells and added sprint car tires. So I cleaned it up and shot a few photos for ya
  11. Nice build. I have to build mine someday!
  12. That is going to need a shelf of it's own! Nice build
  13. WOW! Nice build. I really like your style. Clean building, Welcome aboard!
  14. Here is one of my old drag cars. It's close to box stock with wires
  15. Here is my second drag slot car. I bought the frame as a used roller with a DRS frame and a side winder motor. The hard body is Revell 67 Corvette painted with Marina blue I cut the bottom part of the front end so I could get it to fit the frame and extra LOW
  16. I know Ed personally and his stuff is very nice. At this link you can see my 53 Studebaker I bought and built from Ed. http://public.fotki.com/IrvinArterJr/irvin...-54_studebaker/
  17. Great job. Love it
  18. He just came out with this car this year. I got mine at NNL East. I think it was around 80 bucks. I think this is one of his best castings to date. I was really impressed with it.
  19. About time you finish that! Let me know if you figure out how the dash pad goes. I screwed mine up.
  20. Great Tom, Now I want to build one of these also. Thanks, Thanks alot (HaHa)
  21. I also use PPG 2 part clears. I have found that when I clear it with a few coats I let it dry for a week or so and wet sand using the polishing kit and then clear again with a few very thin really wet coats for a really smooth finish. as long as you sand out the dirt and polish within the first 24 hours before it hard as a rock you should be ok.
  22. Here are a few shots of the underside. It's still clean (that will change this week) I just used heavy coats of epoxy on the chrome and hood.
  23. I am sure most of you have seen some of Bobs aluminum parts on many models but, here is one of his latest and they are out of this world. Sidepipes with removable caps! Includes bolts and nuts! Here are a few shots of mine polished and with the cap hinged on one end. I also added some black wash to the inside of the first cap. Plus they are in scale.
  24. Here are some color shots. Just started to wet sand the body
