  1. That looks dam good! Your brushed metal treatment looks bang on, nice job man.
  2. Love it, great dio too. Then weathering is spot on, very nice work.
  3. Thanks Darrell, oh man no idea on the hours, 20-30 maybe.
  4. Steve, it's actually pretty relaxing, labour intensive but very chill. Michael, keep checking in. I should have something to show by Thursday.
  5. Nice, you don't see many slammed wagons.
  6. The wheels on the 300 are from the 1/20 scale fantasy Indy build. The paint has been mared quiet bad over the year. Oh ya the engine compartment never got finished on the 300, no idea where the rad and the fire wall went too. During that time in my life we flipped homes and lived in them, stuff was always being moved around.
  7. Thanks Ed, no, those are the 30-40 yr old kit decals, under a mile of poly.
  8. Thanks for the interest in my post fella's, and for the kind comments. Oscar, I have no recollection of why it wasn't installed. Thanks for the props just the same.
  9. Thanks guys, this was one of my, Wholly Grail kits, I actually got it from a member on here about 7-8yrs ago.
  10. Thanks Ray.
  11. Thanks for the props. It does look like that doesn't it, the stacks are the same height, IIRC it was mostly caused from me not cutting the screens properly way back then. Thank guys for checking out my builds and the comments. Sorry fo only posting completed pic, all the WIP pics were lost when the forum was shut down.
  12. Blue tack, but ya it kinda does look like aquarium pebbles. The indents are from the tools I am using to shape them while on the car, also from trying to get the tack to stick to the surface and not the tool. I am using a dental pic and a number 11 blade, sometimes it takes a few tries to the tack to stay put and release from the tools.
  13. So I managed to get 2/3's of the "masking" done, only took 4hrs, lol.
  14. I stole the decals from the Revell 926 kit. SpazStix Chrome on the rims.
  15. Thanks Nacho,, nothing added, just box stock. Thanks guys for for looking commenting, much appreciated.
  16. Thanks guys , it sure was fun.
  17. Thanks for looking in guys and the kind words.
  18. Thanks Bob. I really have no idea about the Indy race rules during the 60's, so your not alone on the tech front. Lol
  19. Thanks John, it was fun. Thank you Bob. The paint just had to be done like the box art.
  20. This was a 16yr WIP. The engine/rear sus was done 16yrs ago, the rest was completed on a site that is now gone, so no WIP pics.
  21. Shay, ya, but not on a good base coat of black. Check out the Indy car, that is more like how the Spaz Stix turns out. Thanks Robert, ya they can be fun and they have a ton of potential.
  22. Total fantasy. Scribed panels, resin rivets, Spaz Stix chrome, detailed engine. Wheel s from a 90's F1 car, tire's from two sprint cars. Hand cut and laid checkers, resculpt the nose and added the wings. Rear wing from the MPC McLearn Mb8, rudder from some random plane. Thanks for looking in. P
  23. Another take on this horrible kit. Thanks for checking it out. Tamiya paint with 2part poly clear.
  24. Man that turned out real nice, love the air cleaner, very nice touch.
  25. That is one clean crisp looking Mustang, very nice building.
