  5. This WIP really rock JC, fantastic work.
  6. Good build, I have never seen a kit built up.
  7. Wow that is nuts, the entire engine would have to come out the change the plugs. Cool. What paint brand did you use on this?

Illi The line of Illistrator paints have the same mix consistency and pigment grind as the Wicked line. Which acrylics are you using?
  9. You could use fibber optic lines with the light source in the trunk area. SiFi guys do this all the time for star ships.
  10. Looking good man.
  11. What a sleeper, I dig the engine detailing.
  12. Very nicely done, the trim work is bang on!
  13. John this is awesome! The "garden" hose plug wires, as Harry pointed out, don't really look out of place. I think they kinda go with the bathroom theme. Great scratch building and mods.
  14. Good looking build. Nice stance.
  15. Cool Mike, nice wax job.

I'd paint them cause I can, same reason we build models, we enjoy the challenge. Ya there are a few mess ups with the decal, no biggie. Considering the back pain I was in when I was doing them I am surprised any of them are straight. If I still had the kit I'd black them out. Thanks for the spelling lesson Harry, I know it's one word, :-), flipping auto correct and me being tired. From now on I am going to pm you all my posts for proof reading before I post them, sound good? ;-) Thanks Jesse, do it man, they are great kits, especially the delux version, it has a turbine engine in it.

Another completed build from a few years ago. This was painted with Tamiya acrylic NATO Black, (a really deep/dark flat green) it was then cleared with Tamiya clear that has had gold pearl mixed in. No polishing at all. The orange strips are decals. If I do another I will paint the orange pinstripes. Thanks for checking out these old builds, again sorry for no WIP photos. Once I get that '41 Willy's paint done I will move onto a WIP project more interestinG and share some photos.
  21. Thanks Michael. Chuck, thanks man, and yes that was the inspiration, good eye man. I thought about doing the wing too, may still great around to doing that one day.
  22. Thanks Curt, I never knew that about this kit, thanks for sharing that tasty bit of info. I have another still boxed in mint condition in the stash.
  23. Love this! That would handle like a go kart. Nice execution all round.
  24. Thanks guys the '57 was a blast, the Hemi Under Glass was my first go at BMF. Hugh, yup ghost flames.
  25. Thanks Mike, Bruce. As soon as I finished it I wanted to start another.
