    This is the AMT/Ertl kit , I had to try my hand at do wood grain . this kit was fun to build ,the rear tires are from Pegasus drag slicks whitch worked out better then the kit tires .enjoy!

    Next time use a scotch bright super fine pad ,all you want to do is a light scuff of the plastic to give the primer something to grab onto .

    How funny this is I'm doing one right now, you right about AMT lack of decals and those plastic front tires .and the brass sheet for some reason starts to tarnish and go black . glad I got a original bass sheet way better .But I love your Show rod looks Awesome !
