Those are going to be sharp! I've always liked the old VWs in almost every shape and form. I do have a question though, where did you find the Kubelwagen in 1/24th scale? I've seen them in the smaller scales, but I've never seen one in the larger scales. -Scott H.

THE KAHUNA'S B-DAY!!!
Scott H. replied to george 53's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I hope it is a good one for you! -Scott H. -
I'm going to have to stay out of this one because I think I have seen it before and know the answer... -Scott H.

When you get that list made up, send it to me and I'll forward it to my Model Club here in SC (AFTER I get anything I want off of it of course... ). I'm sure there will be someone there that will want something off of it. -Scott H.

George, I think we're in competition for that one... Even Clay who is in DRIVING distance from me got his while my mail carrier hasn't dropped mine off yet. -Scott H.

Ed, Have you seen these yet? They're made by Scale Modeling by Chris and are available here: Resin Page 6 He has the decals for Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up, and Frostie Root Beer for on the machines, but that doesn't meen that you couldn't make into something else with different decals. Hope this helps, -Scott H.

One more thing I forgot to mention is G-Scale train accessories are also close to 1/24th-25th scale. You can get figures and such from suppliers off the web by doing a search for them too. Hope this helps and don't forget to post pics when you start working on it! -Scott H.

Ford FE 390 Information
Scott H. replied to Jim B's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have a '76 F-150 Ranger with the 390 from the factory also. If you can't get the pics for him, I can more than likely. Quick question: Does yours break the driver's side motor mount on a regular basis? I got tired of fixing mine every other month and chained it down instead of replacing it the last time. -Scott H. -
1/2 scale Doll House furniture and accessories scale out to roughly 1/24th - 1/25th scale. Do a search online for it and don't forget there are a bunch of doll house magazines in the stores to leaf through for ideas. The Doll House / Building kits can be expensive to purchase from the places I have seen online, but quite honestly they're not hard at all to build the basic structure of. The fun comes in the detailing of the buildings and bringing the surrounding areas to life! Hope this helps, -Scott H.

Revell did a series of Bugs that were the 70's body style. They didn't change much as far as body styling if I am remembering correctly. You should be able to use one of those to do your bug. Lindberg had the Caravan, but there hasn't been a Voyager in kit form as far as I know. I have seen several of the smaller CC Honda motorcycles on eBay, but they were the larger scale models and I'm not sure if any of them were the model you are looking for. I would suggest doing a search in both the current and completed listings to check. The only McLaren models I have ever seen were the Formula 1 race cars. You could check with the resin casters, but I'm not sure you'll find what you're looking for. It's worth a shot though! Sorry I couldn't be more help, -Scott H.

Continued from previous post - Quote blocks were exceeded... I'm glad you liked them! That's why I set the page up, to share good recipes between friends and family. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thanks for all the comments, keep checking back on the page as I will update it when I get new recipes to share! -Scott H.

Thanks, I caught it in the recipe, but not the titles. It's fixed now. That's because none have been submitted yet! Seriously, That was put on there because the page is open to the public and I was getting several spam e-mails a day. Once I put that message up and started requiring people sending me messages to put in a code supplied by Myspace, the spam e-mails have almost completely stopped.

I know this is waaaay off topic, but I have a Myspace page that I made for sharing recipes between family members and have decided to share it with my online friends. Don't be surprised when you see the Swedish Chef, it's actually my page. The Swedish Chef's Page Look in the blog for all the recipes that are listed in the profile (I can't figure out how to link 'em up yet for one click surfing). I update the blog when I either get more recipes, or my swiss cheese memory lets me remember to do it. So far there isn't too much on there, but there is a variety of recipes to look at and maybe try. There are several real easy and simple ones on there! If you have a recipe (or more than one) that you would like to share, you can either e-mail me a text file or a scan to type out. I am easy to work with! Please PM me and I'll send you my e-mail address so we don't fill up the board with recipes. All I ask is that if you try one of the recipes, please let me know how it turns out since I haven't tried them all yet. I make NO money what so ever off of this site and hopefully this posting will not be considered as SPAM. I'm just trying to help out everyone that is tired of the same old recipes. -Scott H.

Sorry for the slow reply. I just saw where you had posted the question. The TV show I was watching showed cranes loading and unloading the vehicles from the trailers. I don't think the fronts separated from the trailer, but since it was a TV show, I can not be 100% positive on this. With the weight of the load they were carrying, I honestly do not think they would be 2 piece trailers though. What I would honestly suggest is doing a search for mining equipment and see what you can find that way. -Scott H.

Just saw this guys show on Comedy Central
Scott H. replied to Clay's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yanno, I just got to wondering something. Why hasn't Taco Bell gotten him to do a commercial for them using Jose Jalapeno? They haven't had a good commercial since they were doing the chihuahua commercials! I know Jose is afraid for his life because of them, but it would be a good commercial! Just thinking out loud, -Scott H. -

I have to agree that the DVDs are worth getting! I first saw Jeff perform on Rodney Dangerfield's 9th annual young comedian show and had forgotten about him until I saw the X-Mas special. I went out and bought the Spark of Insanity DVD the next week and laughed all the way through it. Jeff also shows how he made his latest dummy on the DVD. It was worth purchasing it just for that alone. The way he and Peanut try to interrupt each other still amazes me with the talent it takes to do the skit, but my favorite character has to be Walter! Although, I don't think he's all that enthralled about owning a Toyota Prius for some reason... That's good, that's good, that's good, that's gooooooooooooooood... Da, da, DAAAAAAAAAAAA! What are you looking at??? Silence! I KEEEL You! On a steek!!! -Scott H.
