  1. Negative ! springs from an ink pen are not in scale for 1/24 if that's what your working on.

Ok I'm back and now that the tanks are all painted I added more detail . here you see the breather in place and the cap for the oil tank... here you see a drain plug on the bottom of the fuel tank, there's one on all three tanks.... here the tanks are ready for plumbing I hope you enjoyed as much as i did....

Niko: Thx for you most sincere compliment my friend, I'll do my best to keep it interesting. Well fellas I was able to get a Lil more done tonight I hope you enjoy the progress shots of the tanks and puke tank breather ok got the tanks ready for primer and paint I needed to make a breather for the puke tank so I used a polishing wheel from my dremel as the filter and some odds and ends from my parts box. almost finished breather Be right back with more update......

Hey fellas thx for all the sincere compliment you guy really inspire me "to keep moving forward"( Walt Disney 1965) I was able to get some paint on the distributor and get the tanks started , fuel, oil,& puke tank I hope you enjoy. the small piece with fit over the plug wires once its all wired up.I still have to clear coat the assembly heres the start of the tanks heres all three tanks together all thats left to do is make AN fitting holes and prime and paint
  6. Dave is correct and the car that im building had a separate magneto as pictured above. And please keep in mind that this distributor is not complete yet. thx for your observation and your comments

Ok fellas time for another update, getting the smaller details out of the way now, I made a MSD distributor from brass it not quit finished because I still have to wire and paint it cant wire it unit my boots get here from RB Motion. hope you enjoy.... I needed to solder a rod in the body so that i would have something to install it with once the distrib. was done then once that was done I could solder the body together..... Ok so maybe I skipped a few steps but I can only post 4 pics at a time now here it is before paint for a test fit....whatya think... see ya soon.....
  8. Once again Randy you blow me away with your skills may i suggest using Johnson & Johnson bandage tape for your seat belts. its the closest thing in scale to the nylon belts used in real vehicles. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work my friend. Romell

  10. Ok Im back told you it'll only take a few seconds this is where the pump will mount, one test fit now on to the paint man I love Alclad partially plumbed and ready to install on the motor And here we are the installed oil pump system I hope you enjoyed ......
  11. Thx for all the great comments fellas , and Andy I can only put you in as a back up driver ......Cause this one's gonna have my name painted over the drivers door LOL! Well fellas got another update for ya. I fabbed the oil system today from brass heres a sorta step by step, soldered a piece of tube to a piece of sheet to make a closed cylinder then added a center shaft this will serve the purpose of attaching to the motor a little more detail added ok now i'll clean it up and see you in a few seconds

  16. I say you go for whatever you feel John, if you want to build your own chassis GO FOR IT! In the end you are the only person who has to be pleased with your work.

  18. in my opinion Chris stick with what you have , 1 the distributor is correct , 2 you already have detail work started on the kit engine
