  4. Just be safe, Harry. Too bad you don't have a bunker.
  5. In my book, I'm still in love with AMT's 50 CHEVY 3100, REVELL'S 49 MERC, and GALAXIE, LTD'S 48 CHEVY.
  6. ALL RIGHT, CRANKYHEADS, listen up. All those of you who have built (finished and photographed your models) would you do me a favor and contact me because we would like to feature your finished builds in an up-coming book that Doctor Cranky's Lab-RAT-ory will published some time next year. Again, all you have or need to do is have a Zombie or Post-Apocalyptic build finished and then contact me through the PM system here or send me an email to VSUAREZ666@AOL.COM
  7. Another thing that makes Model Cars Magazine stand out is that if you look back through the last several years, there's an amazing array and diversity of builds, builders, and articles. I like how democratic the magazine is in its tastes.
  8. Must be the spirit of the RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS that's going around in particular over in the YOUTUBE community. Enjoy the R.A.O.K.!
  9. For a fun video on John's work, check it out HERE
  10. All right, all you Zombie Hunters . . . we are BACK with the sickness in part thanks to Dark World Creations. We are working on several exciting new projects and we've started a great collaboration that is going to benefit every ZOMBIE HUNTER out there (and here.) Stay tuned in for more.
  11. I'm liking it, very cool.
  12. Wise words, and thank you Tom for saying them, and Bruce for posting them.
  13. This thread inspired today's video chat, which, if you are interested you can watch HERE
  14. I've been getting mine on a regular basis, and I really love the round up of this last year of issue, some wonderful eye candy and articles in the mag.
  15. Thanks for making me smile, Chuck. LOL!
  16. No offense taken, I think my point has always been to encourage all the builders out there to try new things, new styles, new builds to broaden their horizons. It seems to me building the same style of vehicle gets repetitive and boring. Mind you, THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION, not a criticism of anyone's favorite style or subject matter. Variety of style and subject matter is good for young builders. It also has a lot to do with personal taste. I don't particularly care for dragsters or Nascar vehicles, but I built a few early on just to try and see what they offered me as a builder starting out. Remember that what you build doesn't necessarily mean you are married to it.
  17. Caryn, you might want to watch this unboxing review I did of the IWATA NEO which is a wonderful airbrush for an extremely reasonable price.
  18. Oh, and remember to watch the video at the end of the article, please.
  19. I ran across this and the words AUTO POLO just grabbed me. I can see a few of us going nuts over this kind of idea for a build and/or a diorama. Enjoy: http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-rods-rat-rods/Blog/template_permalink.asp?id=157#axzz2kRYU4uhd
  20. Very nice tribute.
