  1. Here she is in all her tacky glory:
  2. All right, here comes the pictures: Chassis shots:
  3. Hum . . . FOTKI is really slow and I am having trouble loading up some pictures . . . in the meantime, here's a quick video you can enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3fWAuBef50:
  4. "For a DOLLAH you can make it HOLLAH! Get your bills ready, and sit up close . . . and enjoy the dance. This one might be old and bit gone, but it still has some nice moves! Shake YOUR BEST PARTS, BABY! The curtain opens, the lights flash on, the music starts, and LET THE SHOW GO ON! "BURLESQUE" is DONE! B)
  5. All right folks, I am going to post the final round of pictures for this build over in UNDER GLASS. But before I do, I wanted to thank you all for making building models so much fun inside this great community. All your comments, suggestions, and generous support is welcomed and appreciated. Best wishes, Doctor Cranky. LONG LIVE YOUR STYRENE ADDICTION.
  6. Thank you, Ray and David . . . this one is almost done . . . I just have to finish it today and take a final round of better pictures of it. Stay tuned in . . .
  7. I will be done with the vehicle some time today, so stay tuned in . . . also, if you want to see more pictures of the vehicle, including "rear" shots, you can go here: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/models-1/burlesque-49-merc/page3.html
  8. It's all coming together, now it's just a matter of adding small touch ups and details here and there . . . I have to confess I like the "topless" look to these 40s and 50s vehicles . . .
  9. All right, maties, it's progress WEDNESDAY. Like I said a few posts back, this kit goes together like a glove but even so you still have to watch out for that engine fit. You have to cut down the battery a little bit just to get a smooth fit. It's part of getting to know a kit intimately after you build it more than a dozen times. LOL. Here are some shots of the engine bay . . . I applied some washes to the engine to tone it down and unify it all . . .
  10. Here's some progress made by Donn Yost:
  11. A real beauty in that color. Love the fact the doors open. Great going.
  12. Killer engine with super duper details. Again, you never cease to amaze me, Mr. Teresi!
  13. Beautiful work, Darryl.
  14. Great engine details . . .you are making progress . . .
  15. Nice looking chopper, and a great color too. Nice background to the pictures.
  16. Beautiful in black. Style and beauty, all in one.
  17. Spectacular indeed, and BEAUTIFUL. What a fabulous model, and color wise, it really is something else. William, you gotta share more of your work with us, and Welcome to the forum. Hang around and share the eye candy, please.
  18. Thanks, Harry, and thank you, Jesse. Working on the engine tonight . . .
  19. Good kits, can't wait to see what you cook up with them.
  20. Bill, that's been my experience too. Ruined a few models using it. My primer of choice, Ryan, is Plastikote.
  21. You have some good details started, and that engine is excellent. Love how you've painted it. Keep it going.
  22. Jim, I've never heard that expression, but I like it, and it's just cracked me up. If it's biker expression I can tell you I don't know it because I've never put my bike away wet, although I've ridden hard in the rain!
  23. Not yet, but it's out and I plan to get a couple of copies.
