  1. I am always thrilled and amazed at the customizing some many of you do on this forum. This is a wonderful chop. Can't wait to see more.
  2. These latest engine pics with all the wiring going in place is amazing. This kind of detailing is going to keep paying off with great eye candy. Keep it going, John.
  3. What a beautiful model. You did a great job in making it look low and classy. Very nice.
  4. Derrick, like the others said, you have to have a smooth, black surface. Also, remember when in doubt, test spray on a plastic spoon just so that you can see the results without sacrificing your model first.
  5. Speaking of motorcycles (and if Revell is indeed listening), I hope they will do a few more of the choppers, and maybe a trike or two.
  6. Thanks for moving this thread here where it belongs.
  7. Looking forward to the pictures.
  8. What a beauty of a model. Thanks for sharing it, Erik.
  9. Yes, the dust is a concern indeed, so it would be useful to have a dust-free environment in which to run these.
  10. I tend to use only one, and a good one at that: http://www.modelroundup.com/
  11. I think all the components for these boxes are cheap, in particular if you have access to an old or discarded computer you can get the fans from . . . James, can you post a picture of yours, please?
  12. Here's another video discussing the same box set up:
  13. For those of you who are interested, this offers a very interesting solution for drying our models after paint. Let me know what you think:
  14. Dan, like Mike said, it's a bit too runny and unpredictable, although clean up is always easy. I've just never thought of using it over either urethanes or enamels. Yes, I would imagine if you drop the PSI down low and spray light coats you can get good coverage. Thanks for explaining how you use it, and I think it's wonderful you get good results with it, and YES, please do post a couple of examples. Thank you.
  15. Bill, I am like this build. The color is perfect. Keep it going, it's going to look sweet finished. Luke, another great model in your collection of Black models.
  16. Ken, I don't know what he's going to do with the little tractor. Hopefully, Mr. Yost will get on here shortly and explain his vision.
  17. Another wonderful make over . . . very nice, Pat. I really enjoy these. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Very interesting, Pat. I am liking this thread.
  19. Here are some pictures to show what Donn Yost is working on. Yes, he is building a shiny vehicle and the weapons are forthcoming. Enjoy:
  20. Thanks for the inspiration, Terry. And, Joe, I like the progress you are making. The pictures are coming through a little blurry. You probably need more light.
  21. No, I haven't seen any kids buying kits in a while, but I have seen plenty of adults pretending to be kids again buying lots of kits.
  22. Another beautiful model in your collection. I love it in this color. Great pictures too. Thank you.
  23. Tony, what a wonderful build. It's got lots of attitude and the perfect unified look. Excellent. I copied the pictures for the next YOUTUBE vid. Thanks for sharing.
