  1. Yes, it is. I love it too. It turned out so interesting that I am thinking it might be real cool to do on a hot rod. Do the body that way.
  2. LOL! Okay, here it is, couldn't help it:
  3. Thanks, Donn. I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, some of us go out fishing for bass while the rest of us stay home and build models. LOL! LOL, thank you, ED. I got to the bumper in time before the resin set. Cheers, DC
  4. Magnesium and Steel. Thank you.
  5. I keep coming back for a second and third look, the color and the effect is just right. This is one of my favorite of your models, Jim.
  6. Watch parts here and there and a box stock engine. Clean, no visible wiring. LOL! Model Car Garage flamed skulls on the tails . . . This has the be the mildest (subtle) weathered chassis and engine bottom I've ever done.
  7. Spine and bones and skulls, what else is there? LOL! Parts by Parks air cleaner, which is state of the art machining. I polished it a bit.
  8. Just when you thought the fun was over. This one is done is way too many colors, certainly too many to keep track of but it's got Cortez Blue, Lilac, True Blue, and a little Purple with some blood in it, all from House of Kolor. The bling is PEARL EX and some large rainbo flakes for good measure. I used all sorts of lace too, and blue-pink marbelizer, and then new Mike Levalle BIOMECH templates. Those things are cool. INTRODUCING SPINAL TAP: These are the wheels that come with the kit and they look just fine . . . stay tuned in for more.
  9. Roger, I like these pictures. It looks like it's a island surrounded by water. Very cool.
  10. Great paint job, Jim. Water drop FX are a blast, ain't they? Another beautiful model. Congrats.
  11. House of Kolor with some rainbow flakes thrown in for good measure.
  12. I am BLIND! BLIND because you've made my eyes pop out of my skull. Superb master detailing, John. I've also gained 20 pounds eating popcorn watching this one.
  13. Oh man, it looks like you've been building a few of these. Great stuff.
  14. I love this build. Great imagination. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Jim, yes, on this red one it is Dupont. On the yellow it is Model Master clear gloss, which I am liking more and more every day. Thanks for the comments, folks. I appreciate it.
  16. Al, not to worry, the RUST will return because EYEGORE just got this tattooed on his rump: LONG LIVE RUST! LOL!
  17. Thanks for the kind comments. They put smile on my face this morning. I like the idea of painting the caddy air cleaner body color. Thank you.
  18. Ah, beauty, and oh an it matches the 56 Del Ray I just finished. I gotta build a few 57s. Thanks for sharing the eye candy.
  19. This one is sitting much prettier than the yellow. And two think I still have two more to go . . . a little bit at a time helps keep the real doctor away. :D
  20. In this case I am afraid so, Harry. The whole rear suspension and wheels is held together with two part resin. It's not that bad. LOL, maybe I am getting way too lazy in my old age. James, I hit the tires and white wides with a bit of dullcoat, but no, you are right, these are pretty brand spanking new tires. LOL. Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I have another one finished and going up.
  21. Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I'm on to the second Del Ray now. Putting on the finishing touches on the engine.
  22. You did a nice job with the fog on that roof, Drew. Excellent build. You should do more customs.
